Awww hope Lulu will recover quickly. Same thing happened to Loki a while back. He miscalculated jumping onto the lay-z-boy and let out a yelp. For a few days he wouldn’t jump and was cautious going up and down the stairs.Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!
I spent yesterday afternoon vacuuming the crazy pool, and again at daylight this morning, but it's looking much better now. We're supposed to leave for vacation this week, but I have to have it ready for our niece and her boys LOL.
Lulu has hurt herself, I think from jumping off the bed or the sofa. She's obviously in pain, but she walks well, so I don't think anything's broken. She just can't jump up on the sofa or in your lap, as usual. I think maybe she just strained a muscle...I hope. We're going to the vet this afternoon.

Good evening. Quick check in before bed. I worked today and it was busy. I worked 15 hours due to call offs, but I’m off the next two days and will get to enjoy the holiday with my family. Hope you’ve all had a great day. I’ll be back in the am for coffee and to catch up with you all!

Took my car to my mechanic before work yesterday only to discover he doesn't do that kind of body work. He told me where to go and the autobody shop he recommended was beside his old location. They treated me well and Anthony actually popped the dent out so it didn't look so bad. There is rippling in the back and a touch of paint is required along with some heavy duty glue to secure the left cover. The driver that hit my parked vehicle will be paying the $764.00, I saved the guy the cost of $1,200.00 by agreeing to the glue method instead of replacing the entire front bumper; he's just trying to figure out if he will be paying out of pocket or going through his insurance company. Modern Autobody might not get to the fix it up until August; they're so busy. Glad he was able to make my car look somewhat whole again.
Whenever I see a vehicle with a dent, I switch lanes if I can; now I have to consider it wasn't the drivers error that caused the damage.
I dozed off on the rocker recliner last night while I was watching nothing of interest on TV. I woke up and said, "I'm coming!" in response to my husband's weak voice calling me. Then I looked to my left and saw the cat already sleeping on my husband's jeans. He must have woken me 10 times over the last year and a half and I'd pretend I wasn't sleeping, three times he heard me snoring; that chair must be doused with sleeping powder.

Happy Independence Day Eve MMC! Tomorrow is the big day. Today is the day before. Just another work day for me. Humidity is really up here. Hopefully it'll lower some. But it is hardcore summer now. Other than that, looking forward to getting up a little later tomorrow. Have a great Pines Day!

I’m heading out in a little bit, I’m going to the butcher to get what we need for our barbecue tomorrow. Other than that it will be a typical day of errands and chores. I’ll start prepping food for tomorrow as well, I have a few salads I need to make. Hopefully I’ll find some time to relax by the pool, it’s going to be a warm day with temperatures in the mid 80’s. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

And those elusive single digits?
Well, they will be here THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, and they count the distance from now to the TWO-THIRDS Milestone marker to Christmas Season 2019!
Again miserably hot and humid here yesterday with our high reaching 95.
Today is predicted to be even hotter (97) before we taper off a bit to round out the week.
Our current back yard reading is 78 degrees at this early hour and the daily humidity has already arrived to make its presence felt.
But the weather matters little to Carl and crew. They have a job to do and it's to enterain us at our inn of choice, the Shispering Pines.
Summer is in full swing there now, with all the decor in place and the summer beverage blends prepared and ready for sampling. There is even a rumor afloat that there is a special "summer season" fired twinke to be debued tonight.
And as far as entertainment is concerned, Carl and O'Malley have had their heads together for the last several days and you know what that likely means.
I, for one, can't wait to find out! (Or can I?)
