Happy Week Till The Bers MMC! Unreal that 1 week from today it all begins! I am going to meet up with a friend for a hike and then do some relaxing after a few errands. Nice Sunday. 4 days of work this coming week then off for 4 days for Labor Day Weekend. Not a bad deal at all. Have a great Week Till The Bers!

Merry Sunday friends ~
Not too much going on here today. All three daughters will be here for dinner tonight, along with the husband, fiancé and boyfriend lol. I’m making baked ziti and chicken parmesan. The girls are bringing dessert. Should be fun. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
xx

A Good MILESTONE MORNING to one and all!
We have reached a new marker and will celebrate its arrival after we review today's figures.

Days to the Season: 80
Days to Christmas Day: 122

Folks, we have now completed TWO-THIRDS of our journey back to Christmas.
Can you believe that? Hard isn't it?
(But the chart will make a believer out of you!)

At last.
At LAST!
The heat has broken and we had a high of 72 yesterday after days on end of 90 degree, plus readings.
It came, however, with off and on again rain nearly the entire day. Now if we can just couple dryness with coolness, we will have it made, and that's what the weather service promises for today. (If true, I'm really looking forward to it!)
Our present temerature is a cool-for-August 65 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Guys!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend oasis.

Good morning, my Chistmas loving friends! Hope you are well. We are getting closer and closer and....pretty soon....we will start Christmas related tasks! I've got some work to do today in the garage to clean it up and get it ready. Pretty soon, I start getting my lights down and checking them...working on a few things...and just getting the Christmas decorations ready to go. 6 weeks and 6 days from today we will put those lights up! It will be here before we know it.

Yesterday morning was amazing, but it warmed up yesterday afternoon. Right now, the air is so thick you can hardly breath! Looks like it is going to be a muggy day, but we have no 90 degrees this week. A cool down is coming. I'm looking at having my first fire next Saturday morning as the temp will be 65 degrees!

The Reds have been tough, of late, but if the Bucs pitching holds up, you may get a hard fought W. ;)

We ended up getting to see a great game. It was pretty boring start, until the Pirates pulled off an exciting 9th inning. They kicked their butt last night!

I hope you are referring to a strip of streets for shopping and dinning; 'cause you had me worried there for a moment. Is it the title or is it just me?
Have fun!

LOL! This was too funny. Yes, this area of Pittsburgh is full of anything you can think of - fish market, meat market, Italian market, coffee, dinning, and so on. If I lived there, I would frequent it for sure. Prices are amazing and food is so fresh!

Well, Well, Well! Look what I saw at Crabtree Valley Mall this evening.
(Looks like we will be able to launch the Christmas Blossoms 2019 thread late next month in traditional style!)

There is a black cover over the entrance behind the door glass. What you are seeing is a reflection of what's across the hall. You cannot see into the store at all at this point, but I'll keep my eye out each time I go by.
(Maybe I'll get a sneak peek at some point!)
This is the earliest I can recall the store starting to set up here.

Ooooo! So exciting! Thanks for sharing, Crown!

Just checking in ... keeping a low profile because I'm still in the doldrums. Not only hasn't the workload decreased, but now all employees are assigned to read a 260-page business book (provided by the head guy) and prepare a 3-minute presentation about it. Honestly, I can't see anyone in my department having time for that, as we're all working 9- to 10-hour days, and some even longer. I want my weekends free to try to recharge my physical and mental batteries. We had a few days' vacation, but the first day back at work, plus preparing for a medical procedure next week, have sort of canceled that out. The holidays are, sadly, starting to look like just more tasks added to the plate with other demands on time and energy. I'll be checking in every day as usual, but not posting much until I can spread some cheer.

Thinking of you, Merry and sending you lots of prayers. Keep your head up and try to find rest and cheer when you can. (((hugs)))

Our daughter leaves for camp Monday morning and we have to take her shopping tomorrow for things for camp and school as she will start school next week. High school marching band season starts in 2 weeks so my time will be very limited then so trying to get as much cleaning as possible now.

I wish our temps were as low as yours :) we are in the 60s and 70s for the next few days before it goes back up in the 70s and 80s. I am praying we have seen the last of the 90s for the year but we usually see a couple in Sept.

You guys will be busy! Hope she has a great time at camp!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC! Thanks Crown!

Good morning! It's Christmas in August on QVC. DH is teaching up near the New York border, so my plans are watching that and spending time with that kids. He won't be home until later this evening. The Steelers play tonight at 8.

Hope you all have a great Sunday - I'll check back in later!
