S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y - and the cat tried to get me up at 3:30, but I held him off until 4:30, I can already tell that I'll be back in bed within two hours for a wee nap.

Woke up during the night and had a freak out over crazy prisms and silver streaks in my left eye, but my right was fine. Kept closing my eye and couldn't figure out what was happening. I had to reach way back in my memory to a similar occurrence so I could calm my fleeting thought and worry that there was something terribly wrong. I suddenly worried that I might not be able to drive with limited sight. I don't usually jump to such catastrophic thinking, but the strange light had me concerned. Yup, turns out the left eye was filled with excess moisture. Once it drained away, it was like nothing was wrong. I took two Advil to try and elude a migraine and it seemed to work. This morning both eyes are a bit dry. The weather yesterday was beautiful, but the winds stirred up some sand and dust from the side of the roads so I likely got something in my eye and my body was healing itself. I'll take some eye drops this morning and give both eyes a wee bath.

Having a hot cup of steeped tea this morning in my Santa mug.

I just realized with all the mugs I have access to, not one of them leans toward Autumn so I must keep my eyes open for a special mug.

Keep a merry thought in your head -lights-

Happy Final Weekend of Summer MMC! Another Bers Weekend is here and the last one of summer officially. It's supposed to be 80 and sunny this weekend. Can't really beat that for late September with low humidity. Trying to enjoy the warmth while we can. I started going to this deli that became my favorite place to go to Saturdays for lunch. Will be stopping there today as I have for the past few months on Saturdays. Have a great Final Weekend of Summer!

I’m glad you’re feeling better Auntie, I hope you have a good day!
xx

Good morning MMC ~
Happy last weekend of summer! It’s going to be a beautiful sunny and warm day. I have to do some food shopping after I take Rocky for a walk. My youngest is coming over later, we’re going to grab something for lunch and do some shopping at the outlets, the weather will be perfect to walk around there :)
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!!!
xx

Good Morning, Weekend Waiters.
Well, wait no more, because the weekend is here!

So are the latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 53
Days to Christmas Day: 95

Also, the latest update on our Milestone marker situation.
The 3/4 point to Christmas Day will be here in just barely over HALF a week now, hard though that may be to believe.
And then, the only markers left will be the Home Stretch ones!
(Wow, the year is passing so fast!!)

And more good....no....GREAT news!
"A Christmas To Remember" opened at the mall yesterday! I've already taken several photos, and we are locked and loaded for the launch of the Blossoms thread, coming some time next week!
(I even bought a Christmas snow globe there for a friend, my first Christmas present of the holiday season!)

The unbelievably nice weather continues, spoiling us rotten.
The heat will return today and all too soon it will get cold and the leaves will start falling, meaning raking will replace mowing.
Our beginning temperature here is 69 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody.
And if you are a college football fan, may your team prove victorious on the gridiron today!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

I jumped in the pool after work, just because it's September, and I don't know how many more opportunities I'll get this year. It was still in the upper 90's, so it was nice.

Now we're planning a second birthday dinner for Jacob, since my side of the family was out with Mama's hospitalization last week. I'm glad she's doing so much better!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Wonderful to hear that she is doing so well!

@AuntieMistletoeDear, I bought Mouse, who had arthritis, a pad to sleep on that reflected her heat back at her. She loved it even though it made a crackly noise when she moved around. I found it on Amazon but I don't remember what it was called. I hope the liquid for O'Malley works wonders. xx

@Bradmac, I hope you get a good night's sleep and don't have any more nightmares! I'm glad the dinner was fun. :)

@HomemakinGirl, I hope the chiropractor helps ease your headaches! xx

@SnowflakeMom, how scary ~ I hope all are safe!

@Cassie, welcome back!

@sugar142286, have a most merry and safe time!

Thanks, Meceka! We’re having a wonderful time so far!

Party down and done; Bentley weighs as much as my cat. He's a cutie and had about 40 people come to celebrate his 1st birthday. I'm glad I volunteered to help my friend and her niece set things up, they never would have done it all on their own; we only got there an hour and half before guests started to arrive.

Trying O'Malley on his first dose of arthritic and joint pain liquid meds, but he took one sniff (not sure if he licked it) and walked away. It's mixed in with his lickable cat treat that has the consistency of yogurt.

The view of the ski hill from the rental shack showed me how quickly the leaves on the trees have changed in a week.

I was up near the airport twice last week, but I thought the leaves that were changing colours were sporadic, but not the rows of various types near the ski hill.

We're expecting rain most of next week so I'm hoping to go and grab my first set of Fall photos over the weekend. I have Friday booked off as a vacation day so if it's sunny, I'll head up to the Falls.

My eye is fine, just dry and full of grit when I woke up after my nap earlier this morning. How does sand get in behind your glasses?

Relaxing this evening with the O'cat and tomorrow is housework day; bathroom and kitchen and changing the sheets on the bed and replenishing the bird feeders.

Likely be making fudge tomorrow for a good cause and soup for me for another good cause. Haha

Stay Jolly!+i

Thanks, friend. I hope y'all have the best time, ever!

Thanks, buddy! We’ve been taking so many pictures! The girls would love Enchanted Tales with Belle. We did that yesterday at Magic Kingdom. It was a little show and then the kids were able to meet and get their picture with Belle. I feel like there is so much to tell you. Toy Story Land is so much fun for their age and is worth getting up early for the extra magic hours!

Good Sunday morning! It will be another Summer-like day here, what a beautiful week we’ve had. Today we have to go grocery shopping and there are chores and meal prep to be done. We’ll also swing by favourite chocolaterie to pick-up a nice dessert on our way to my in-laws, for my mil who had her birthday on Friday. Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful day!
