Nope...You must have been up to some nefarious activity, and that's what's kicking your conscience around.

Thanks Crown!! All our rain has woke up the little gnats, you can barely stand it outside if the wind isnt blowing.
Haven't seen to many gnats since June, but the skeeters are plentiful and sneaky. Two of them tagged me on the way from the garage to the house Monday evening. God bless whoever invented Bactine. Without that little pump I wouldn't have gotten much sleep.:)

Oh, I could run on for hours! We only were able to spend a day at each park. Magic Kingdom we did hit a few times, with going back there for the Halloween party and trick-or-treating. The adults even got to partake in that and we came home with 10.4 lbs of candy and I'm talking about good candy! Epcot was probably my favorite park. It's where you visit all the different countries, eating, drinking, and learning about all the different cultures. It was truly amazing. Each country had workers from that country - they had name tags on that stated where they were from and they were actually from that country. They could fluently speak the language. It really made you feel like you were in that country at the time. Animal Kingdom was just beautiful with all the animals too.

My second favorite was probably Magic Kingdom. This holds Cinderella and Belle's (Beauty and Beasts) castles. We ate breakfast at Belle's castle and meet her there. That was very exciting for the kids, as well as me. She was my favorite princess growing up! The parades, scenes, fireworks, rides, and EVERYTHING Disney does is just amazing. @ballcoach is going to LOVE it!

Sounds wonderful.

Well, my photo journey didn't turn out so well. The closer I got to the trees I could see looking toward the ski hill, the more I realized they were already drying up a bit. Some were still green.

A couple of older Fall photos to share to tide you over until I can snap some for this year. Could be the weather; it's been really windy so they're blowing off before they get a chance to change colours.

The first two were taken close to home.

These ones involved a long car ride and a meal on the road.

Thanks for sharing! The pictures are beautiful, Auntie!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

We took Jacob out for dinner last night, since I missed his celebration a couple weeks ago while Mama was in the hospital. He always wants to go to the same Asian restaurant. It's very good food, and reasonably priced, but my goodness! Choose another restaurant sometimes! LOL

Nancy and I are slipping away for a weekend without the kids tomorrow. Is it normal that I feel a little guilty about that? o_O

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Have a wonderful weekend Brad!

Thanks Sugar!
I’m happy you enjoyed Disney, the pictures are awesome. It’s been several years since I’ve been, I would love to go back some day! It’s sooo much fun!
Happy Birthday to Sidney!!!

Thanks, HMG! I’m still tired from the trip. It was go, go, go the whole time and I didn’t think I would want to go back until the kids were older, but now I can’t wait to go back. I told them maybe in a few years. I enjoy going on vacation and just “relaxing” lol.

Those photos are still beautiful, Auntie. I miss that area. We will have plenty of green here!

Thanks, Brent; I may find some colours when I head a bit southbound over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I heard the leaves up by Espanola were looking good so I imagine the Sault had some good colours too.

Hilli-Ho my Merry Chums! +a -santa dance-

Up and at it early. Not really the cats fault, although he tried his best to get me up at 2:00 a.m. and I had a bit of trouble falling back asleep.

To be honest, I'm excited about two different vacations I have coming up and the plans are keeping my mind active when it should be offering up dreams instead.

I have to make my homemade fudge shortly so it will be ready to drop off at 9:00 for the fundraiser for a part-time paramedic who doesn't receive benefits and is battling cancer.

They are calling it a Pumpkin Fest; I don't have any pumpkin flavour for my fudge, but I will be adding salted caramel chips to the chocolate mixture and some dried citrus peel and that should make it feel Fall-ish.

Stay jolly! -surprise-

I forgot to mention my Christmas sighting yesterday. -tree-

I spotted a Christmas Trees for Sale sign on my drive yesterday on a back road along Tower Drive (some people still have farms up there), mostly produce with a few animals.

When I was trying to get to sleep, I couldn't help, but travel back in time to the joyful days of fetching the perfect tree to decorate for Christmas.

We usually picked a nice day to head out, sunny and not too cold and we'd bundle up in our winter garb and trudge through the deep snow and help ourselves to an 11-13 foot tree. Dad sometimes had to cut a foot off to make room for the beautiful fabric Angel that was a gift to him and my mom for their first Christmas together.

The last few Christmases his tree is actually a half-tree and artificial, but you can hardly tell it's fake when it's decorated. Several guests over the years have actually been observed touching the needles. The Angel was replaced by a gold partridge and adorned with pear ornaments and other special pieces with a sentimental feel to them. Yes, it was a Partridge in a Pear Tree theme.

Keep a merry thought in your head!

Happy First Weekend of Autumn MMC! Can't believe how fast September has been going now. This is the last weekend for shorts here. We should be near 80 today. Next weekend, by the looks of it, we may not be much above 60! Time to get the long pants out again. I'll enjoy this weekend first. Have a great First Weekend of Autumn!

Merry Saturday MMC!
It’s going to be another beautiful day, sunny with highs near 75 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. I’m waiting to hear from my oldest, she’s going to text me when she wakes up. Her husband surprised her with a weekend trip to Salem, she always wanted to visit this time of the year. She got to see Boston yesterday and absolutely loved it. I’m going to sneak out of here soon to do some food shopping. Rocky is still in bed with my husband so I’ll walk him when I get back. I also have plans with my youngest this afternoon. We’re going to grab lunch and go shopping. It’s become a routine for us on Saturdays and I really look forward to it. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great weekend!!!

Good Morning, Season Seekers and Christmas Chasers.

Well, the quest has certainly become more interesting as we approach the VERY LAST Milestone marker before the Season begins.

To the numbers:
Days to the Season: 46
Days to Christmas Day: 88

And that VERY LAST marker alluded to above?
Well, that would be the NINETY PERCENT/HOME STRETCH point to Christmas Season 2019!
What's more, it's now only 9 days hence. Already down to SINGLE DIGITS!
(Getting scary, Folks.)

The weather has been quite stable of late. No rain coupled with reduced humidity, but still warmer than usual temperatures for this time of year.
Such condtions are predicted to continue for the next few days, perhaps getting a bit more uncomfortable as we return to the 90's today and tomorrow.
Our present weekend-starting reading is 75 degrees, here.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody!
Enjoy the weekend.
