Thanks, Brent; I may find some colours when I head a bit southbound over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. I heard the leaves up by Espanola were looking good so I imagine the Sault had some good colours too.

It's a possibility. The Sault is usually in peak between now and Thanksgiving. I was speaking with my mom today, but didn't quite remember to ask how the leaves were. Hopefully I will remember to ask when I speak with her this week.

8 days until our next milestone? Well, I guess I normally don't enjoy Mondays, but I'll like the first Monday of October. Even more so, it's only a four-day teaching week, so there are a few things to look forward to a week's time.

Hey Christmas friends!!! Hope you’re well!! Just got back from officiating a college friend’s wedding! So much fun. I’m ready for a great week ahead...once I unpack all this!

I’m so excited for October and for Friday, because according to the weather people, the weather is FINALLY going to feel like the autumn is here! My favorite time of year. I love the anticipation of it all!

Have a great week ahead, team!!

Your work is sure tough, caring makes the connection stronger and in this case you lost someone who had known your grandmother making it even more difficult.

I'm glad you are finding the peace of mind to appreciate the little things in life and to give thankful mention of them.

Hugs and comfort to you :rubhead

Thank you so much for this sweet post. Means so much.

It's only September 29th and we're being dumped on by snow here in Calgary. It started last night and is supposed to continue until late morning on Monday. Apparently we're looking at around 40-50cm by the time it stops coming down tomorrow. I wanted to enjoy Fall, not winter yet! It's definitely too early for snow.

It’ll be 97 here Wednesday and Thursday! Talk about extremes!!! Hope you can at least enjoy some of the cozy and that fall returns soon!

Enjoy your warmth!! Please send some to Calgary! Lol! The weather is supposed to be back to fall temperatures with sunshine by Tuesday, so hopefully all of this white stuff melts quickly.

Hello everyone! We just returned from a week in the Outer Banks in North Carolina. My husband and I went with my mom and her best friend (my Godmother.) They are both 75 and have been friends since the 5th grade! The four of us went there in 2016 before my Dad got sick. When he passed earlier this year, my mom said it was the one place she wanted to return to, so off we went! The weather was absolutely beautiful all week, the ocean was great, I filled up on lots of seafood; however, the mosquitos were the WORST I have ever seen them! Silly us, out first night we had our lights on (of course) and were going in and out off the balcony, and when we went to bed we found 24 on our ceiling! Needless to say I couldn't sleep until my husband could show me their dead little carcasses. Despite those crazy bugs, I love the outer banks and was very happy to make the trip but I am also happy to be back home. That is, until I saw our weather. 92 on Tuesday and 64 on Friday? Welcome back to Ohio I guess! Hope everyone is doing well!

I saw images of that fluffy stuff on FB and was glad we only got a touch of frost yesterday.

Switching my wheels for all weather tires in early November.

Sounds like a fun time, except for the nasty vampire bugs. That's one thing I dislike about camping and that sort of thing. You'd have to throw oven mitts on my hands to stop me from scratching the bites.

Happy End of September MMC! This month flew and I fear that October may do the same. We need a slower October to enjoy the month of Halloween. The chill is still expected to hit late in the week right through the weekend (but with sunshine). Have a great End of September!
