Thanks, Auntie.
I'm sorry you had such an expensive fix on your car, but glad you got it taken care of in time.
A merry Pines Eve to you!
xx

Thank you; I am happy to have it on the road running safely; when I go back today to pay for the repairs, I'll also book an appointment to have my all weather tires replace the current ones. They are still in good shape despite having that left rear wheel locked on brake mode for a few days; hoping they'll give me a discount and hang onto them for another customer.

Merry Wednesday (yes, already the middle of the week); y'all know what that means...

Another Shispering Pines gathering is in the horizon.

I'm getting so excited for all things Christmas! Might do some baking this year. I'm also getting excited for Halloween this year.

Good Wednesday morning! I am so excited, we started receiving our Christmas merchandise at the store! We received so much yesterday that we already have to make space on the sales floor to bring it out, it’s starting to overtake our warehouse shelves already. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Happy Hot October MMC! We will see temps reach into the 80s today with humidity. Wow really warm, and even hot for October. But that will crash down tonight and we'll see the temp drop about 30-35 degrees over night. And then cooler even chillier days ahead. Have a great Hot October Pines Day!

Merry Pines Day!
It’s going to be cloudy & warm today, we’re expecting showers and temperatures in the mid 80’s. It’s supposed to be much cooler tomorrow which will be nice. Not too much going on here. I have another chiropractor appointment later this morning and I’m going to visit my parents as well. Other than that I will be working on some chores around the house. Dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good morning and Merry Pines Day!!!
Another blistering hot day today.
Sunny and a high of 95. And this is one of our "cool" days this week.
But some relief comes next week.
Have a great day!!!

Good Mid-Week Morning, Travelers.

Getting pretty near now to the beginning of the final, Home Stretch point to our Christmas Season.
It's been a long haul but the end is starting to come into view.

Days to the Season: 42
Days to Christmas Day: 84

Just FIVE days now.
That's the distance to the NINETY PERCENT mark to Christmas Season 2019.
So near. So very near.

Summer has returned with hot days and plenty of sun.
And with the lack of rain, we are in a bit of a drought. Not a grass crunching one yet, but we are a bit parched. No rain in sight, either.
Today's starting temperature reading is 71 degrees here in the capital city.

Carl just gets more and more excited as we press on into fall and toward the start of the Christmas Season, his all-time favorite part of the year. How fortunate for us that our friendly activities director has such a soft spot for our wonderful season of choice.
I wonder what he and O'Malley have cooked up for us this evening besides those deliciout fired twinkies?
Only one way to find out!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Guys.
See you tonight at the 'Pines!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

Another large limb broke from the pecan tree behind our house. This one didn't do any damage (thank You, Lord!), but it was partially inside the carport and too big to manhandle. I got the saw out yesterday afternoon and cut it up into manageable pieces. A small branch poked me in the eye, and it's still sore, but if that's the extent of the damage, I can live with it.

Last week, the contractor who is building our new office hired a subcontractor to spray expanding foam insulation in the walls. My truck was parked nearby and the wind was really blowing, so I wound up with a light coating of foam insulation on it. Now I have to take it to a paint shop (at the contractor's expense) to see if it can be cleaned, or if I have to have a new paint job. I don't want to be without my truck for so long, but they are also renting one for me, so I can't complain too much.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Typical work day for me and then looks like we are getting some fall weather! There was another person that died from Equine Encephalitis from a darn mosquito in the next town over. And someone in my town is in the hospital with it. Very scary!! Never before have I been hoping for a colder weather and a frost. We are definitely staying inside during dusk..
Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Wednesday new friends! In SoCal we're in the days/weeks when it's 50s in the morning and you need a jacket and by 1pm it's in the 90s and you need a beer.

Another day of report generation and distribution at the office. Listening to Christmas music. Fellow employees will roll their eyes, but I've been here over 20 years and it's expected now.

Chicken teriyaki bowls for dinner.

Enjoy!

Good Morning, MMC!! Well yesterday we set a record for the hottest October day in Indy ever at 92. Today, we may break that. It should be our last 90 degree day of the year though thankfully. Then 80’s tomorrow and 60’s on Friday. So hopefully the AC will be done with soon. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

It's only September 29th and we're being dumped on by snow here in Calgary. It started last night and is supposed to continue until late morning on Monday. Apparently we're looking at around 40-50cm by the time it stops coming down tomorrow. I wanted to enjoy Fall, not winter yet! It's definitely too early for snow.

Wow and we have record breaking temps here in PA of 90F. I bet the snow is beautiful though!
