Christmas is Everyday

Greetings all from South Dakota. This is my favorite time of year and I try to keep it within me all year long (and count down starting at 200 days). It just seems to be that time when something magical and spiritual gets into peoples hearts and they make small transformations into the people that they know they should be all year. More songs are written about this time versus any other holiday, wars have been put on hold, charitable giving goes up, strangers are treated more like friends and I could go on and on.
I am older now, but cannot ever really remember a bad Christmas. Even by myself, when in the service on a lonely outpost, I was never really alone that day. Let us hope and pray that the "reason for the season" never departs our hearts, our homes or our countries. Have a very Merry Christmas all. :smile:
