In your own words please explain your experience, what you liked, what you didn't, etc. -- My family did not have bubble lights when I was growing up. It is something I've learned to appreciate as an adult. Some family friends have many bubble light sets and they put them all up every Christmas. They are beautiful.

I was given a bubble light centerpiece a few years ago. It has 9 bulbs on it and I love it. Last year I came across this centerpiece, which has 3 bulbs. From what I read these are harder to find so I am glad I was able to get one.

I got mine from amazon but I also saw it on the website for the Vermont Country Store. (I just checked .. it is out of stock there at the moment)

There are different types of bubble lights out there. Some with just bubbles, some with glitter. Some with colored fluid, some with clear. This set has clear fluid and it has glitter in it. I love the effect. It is mesmerizing.

Now some specifics. If you are looking for a vintage candolier this is not what you are looking for. The base is plastic and the "greenery" that comes with it is also plastic. I mention this because some of the online reviews talk about it. This did not bother me though because I wanted to get bubble lights and what is important to me is the actually bubble light, not the appearance of the base or greenery. The greenery is not attached so I don't even use it.

Moving on. I like that the bulbs are removable. That makes them easy to replace if they break. Or you could even put in the style of bubble light that you like.

Also, being a smaller piece (compared to the one with 9 bulbs) gives you more options as to where to display it. Some people put them in windows. It is 9" long and 3" wide. The cord is 62" long.

Overall it's a nice touch of yesteryear and a nice addition to anyone's Christmas decorations.

Was it worth the money? -- Yes

Please give a rating -- 5 Stars - Outstanding

Would you recommend this to other Christmas enthusiasts? -- Yes

Any advice or suggestions you would give to the maker, artist or producer? --

Glittering Tinsel, I love them too!. My grandmother had them on her tree when I was a little girl--probably the original ones from way back when. I guess I was not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree myself, because I could sit and watch them for an hour or more.:locotree
