Hi all! I’m updating my Christmas decorations this year and looking for ornaments like tree balls and garlands.
Where do you usually buy them, and which ones would you recommend?

Just stumbled across this post wow, where to start. Unfortunately, the end of season deals at the hobby stores were pretty limited this year, so if you didn’t get lucky and catch them, you may be waiting until at least August. LOL.
I went with a Victorian Christmas this year and ended up finding most of the decor on Amazon. LED flickering taper candles with remote control for the tree, along with dried oranges and cinnamon sticks, really set the tone. Ten of our girls’ pictures with Santa had never been framed, and I managed to find some beautiful Victorian era frames, each one a different shape and finish, which worked perfectly.
Even the garland leaned into the Victorian vibe this year, less fir and more spruce again, Amazon came through. You can check out the deals at Balsam Hill, but even on sale, it’s tough to justify the pricing.

That said, there are a lot of crafty MMC folks on here, so be ready for some great advice. Happy hunting!
Oh, and I highly recommend a rotating tree stand. About $50.00 on Amazon. You can stand by your ornament box and the tree comes to you.
