:hello: Merry Greetings, y'all! I survived my week back to work after my vacation - actually got plenty of my own work done.

Feel like napping today, perhaps it's the warm air that induces sleep - what do you think, Crown?

Took about four pages to catch up on things here in the Countdown. The comments here are more fun than the funny pages in the newspaper.

My husband just got home with groceries and I was helping him unpack them. I got a bit excited as you can imagine when I spotted an eggnog carton.

. . . Only to discover it was Buttermilk, they changed their design. Boohoohoo. Oh well, ten weeks until eggnog hits the stores!

Ohmagosh Crown......persimmon-coffee? Now that would make Binge pucker for sure! You poor souls enduring that heat, don't worry though, cooler weather is just around the corner along with the excitement of Christmas drawing nearer.

I had the best Cuban coffee..... OMG... and had coffee on a terrace overlooking some lush gardens..... and had a nightcap of coffeee///// OMG... there's so much great coffee in the world....

Yes, warm air induces sleep. Cool air too. Or any air in between. The sound of rain falling; crickets chirping outside (or inside); the lapping of waves on the shore, distant traffic, ...........the sound of Binger percolating coffee at 3:00 AM or any other hour - or half hour - or 15 minutes.

Whew! Ninety-nine degrees 2 days in a row. Mid 90's again predicted for today. Then a few days of relief at last with temps dropping into the 80's. I can't wait!

79 days to the Season.
121 days to Christmas Day. (Less than 4 months!)

It's been an interesting few days here, but everything is getting back to "normal". Still a lot of cleaning up going on. Grandma Eagle is back home and all is right with the world.

I'm watching a Dean Martin special on PBS...When I grow up...I want to be Dean Martin!!! So maybe during my next dance I could do a little soft shoe in a well tailored, very expensive suit...Oh...and I'll have a glass of something and smoke going...

We missed you kiddo!!! It ain't the same without ya!

My neighbor gave me a cup of coffee that she brought back from Paris...Not sure what it was but I felt a little jolt after the fact...good stuff...Of course she put sugar in it...Not my way of imbibing...But I drank it, none-the-less...

I know it has nothing to do with Christmas but I'm a lttle sad tonight...My beloved Rolling Stones may have done their final concert tonight in London...Who knows if they'll be back or not but just the chance that their done brings a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat...Not too Christmassy those Stones but I sure loved 'em.

Good Evening Everyone !

I just happened to get my lunch indoors and near an internet hook up. Cool !!! I couldn't think of a better group of people to spend my lunch with. Let's see what Mrs. Eagle packed me for lunch . . . . . a large salad (very tossed, in the car for the last 5hrs), Newman's Italian dressing, an apple and a small ziplock bag of homemade chex mix (I prefer the homemade stuff over the store-bought).

I rigged a spotlight with a picture of a cup of coffee ( like the Bat signal ), so if Binger's plane ran out of coffee they would know where to land to "refuel".
