Countdown to Christmas 2007!!!

I am also in Michigan. It has been pretty hot today.
92 degrees here in NC
Is summer EVER gunna leave so we can at least enjoy a small fraction of fall. I want to go leaf peeping but the darn weather has everything staying a little too green for my taste. AHH well. Maybe that is why I am in a funk

Good Evening Everyone.
Mid 80s here, but at least some of the trees have begun to change . . . . . a leaf of two. This has been a long year in the Eagle household. I'm so looking forward to the season change. I'm even going to change my signature today, to "stay warm", just to welcome any change we may get.
I think I'll have dinner tonight in the backfield, where the shispering winds blow a light snow across the hills in my mind.
Suggested listening for those of us who can hardly wait: Alvin and the Chipmunks - Please Christmas don't be late.

Whew! Hot here in Raleigh, too.
We set a record high of 93 yesterday and are supposed to be back in the 90's again today.
However, by this weekend, they say highs only in the 60's.
Just like Oz, the weather can change so quickly around here.

We are getting some rain this morning - a nice slow soaking rain - just what we need. (Only we need more of it)
Three more days to the State Fair. We can't wait!
