Good Morning Everyone !!!

49 days ???? Wow, that's great.

It's too warm here, and humid too. Where's fall??? I'm only just begining to see the leaves changing.
I was at a training school and during a break, in the corner of a room filled with rough looking guys was this guy telling the others how he and his wife were going to celebrate Christmas this year with their 3 small children. It was sooooo quiet. Everyone was listening. It brought some of us older guys back to another time . . . . . .

Suggested listening for today: Singers Unlimited - While By My Sheep

Have a GREAT day.

Thanks, I could go for a little a - cappalla right about now.
While by my sheep I watched at night,
Glad tidings brought an angel bright . . .

:hello:I love it when I hear other people talking about Christmas early in the year, I go on and on all year of course, so it's nice to sit back and listen when someone else is getting exciting about it.

Our fall weather here is getting pretty spectacular right now. Even though its just starting.. On the drive over to the coast for my sons wedding the trees in the mountains were changing the most brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows, they were great. I love this time of the year, not only because of the fall colors but it also means Christmas isn't far behind. Yaaaaaaaaaaah

Ah! Nothing like the arrival of fall colors to start getting one into the holiday mood!

48 days to the Season.
90 days to Christmas Day.

Good Morning, all.
Another nice morning here in Raleigh with clear skies and temps in the mid-60's.
It's still getting rather warm in the afternoon, but not bad. The humidity is not too high.
We've been lucky with the hurricanes so far this year. Keep your fingers crossed.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday / Happy Hump Day!

What is this? Hump Day?? YEAH! Fill'r up Bing, let's guzzle!

Hey Renn! Yo Auntie!! So good to see you....
Auntie, I can't wait to see your "Dragon Tree"!! I have always loved trees, with a special fondness for evergreens...as in, Tannenbaum O Tannenbaum...I just checked out a library book; "Remarkable Trees of the World", by Thomas Pakenham..good book to look at before bedtime, nothing better than a tree dream...(even though last night I dreamt of clowns hiding in the garage...why? why? oh, why?)

ENJOY your Wednesday, it only comes but once a week you know!! As Bob Dylan would say,..........well, he would say something I'm sure.

Helloooooooo Cedar!!! Hellooooooooo Auntie!!! Helloooooooo Crown!!! Helloooooooo Binger!!!
Crazy, crazy week...Is this the new normal? I'm practically bouncing off the walls! I love trees too!!! Nuttin' better than a big old evergreen on a windy day shispering comfort to you as you lay in a hammock!!! Not that I've laid in the hammock more than five minutes at a time this summer...and then it was only to stretch it out so the visiting children could get into it...Whose big idea was it to have phones, beepers, cell phones, fax machines emails and regular mail? Are we that in need of communication that we need twenty three different methods??? Ya never get a moments peace!!! Thank God for friends that call and write...Cause if I had to just deal with all this other junk I'd go insane! Well...more insane...

I like the way you think, Jay!
(Oh, yes. Helloooooooooooooooo back at you!)

Well...It really should have said Whispering comfort rather than shispering comfort...But I sort of like the way Shispering sounds...So take your pick...The trees can Whisper, or they can Shisper...It's up to you!!!

jay

No fall colors here in Missouri yet and temps have still been a little above normal, but it's been nice and cool today.

Our leaves usually don't start turning until around the middle of October.

snowberry (who thanks Jesus for cooler weather)

Cooler here today- it only hit 90 instead of 91.... still a good day to guzzle some java..good idea Cedar.. hey Jay my man.. Yabba ( Short for " Yo babe..") .. I love Fallc olors.. nothing better than the dark color of say java.. so rich.. OMG gotta have some.. in the words of Bob Dylan ( oh forget it.. no one can understand a word Bob Dylan says...)

Yabba Yabba.....

hey- here's a great philosophical question for you...

If a tree full of color..falls in a forest and it doesn't wake Crown... no wait.. I screwed that up... hmmm Hey anyone know Philosophy?

If Crown doesn't wake up and a tree has fallen upon them does it still have fall color? no wait.. that's not it either....

help..........

:hello: Trust me, buddy - the trees around here do far more shispering than whispering. They sound like waves in the ocean smashing against rocks. That's gotta be a shisper sound.

 Hey Cedar - goooooooood to see you too!

Today was the first day I felt human again since last week. Nasty allergies - sure sign of something in the air - is it Christmas, is it Fall - oh it's grass and ragweed. Nasty stuff - achooooooooo!

I was humming Jingle Bells today and trust me there's no chance of snow.

Gotta go amuse Mr. O'Malley.

Its getting sooner! Im so happy :) Im actualy sitting here at work watching Christmas Vacation on my Ipod ;)

...If a Cell phone goes off in the woods...and there is no one around to answer it...are you still annoyed?

If Binger was charged $10 for coughing would that be a "cough-fee"?
I know - weak attempt but it's early and I'm still sleepy.
.....And that tree didn't do me any good.

47 days to the Season.
89 days to Christmas Day.

It was another pleasant drive in this morning, with the temp at 67. Highs below 90 for today should make it nice for walking.

Head's up! (No, Binger's not throwing coffee beans). The Crowns are off to the beach Friday afternoon through Sunday and a weekend coundown volunteer is needed.
Any takers?

Have a Thrilling Thursday, my friends!

Good Morning my Buds-O-Dears....Wow, another glorious week-end...in which to revel in all our character flaws! Yeah babe, YEAH!!! Who among us desires perfection anyway?

Crown~I will do the Countdown, gladly. Bix and I will be home all week-end...mowing, planting, mowing. ( But if someone else wants to do it, that's OK, I'll be the back-up counter...) Are you taking super Fox? Can Bix go too? We call him 'Ol Stitch-Back' nowdays...(the stitches come out next week)

And Jay, your 'shispering' STAYS! That's as cool as Auntie's 'crispness'. lol!

Yes, super Fox is going, as is Carl.
And super Bix is welcome also.

Thanks for volunteering. I know I can "count" on you!
<< chuckle >>

ohh my off to the shore.. I hear there's great sleeping weather at the shore.. listening to the waves crash- sipping java.. shell collecting.. napping.. sipping java... making sand castles.. sipping java... sipping java..sipping java... repeat...

Hey- I like that philosophical question even better!

Ok ok- off to look at the shispering tree colors...

yahhoooooo....

It's our favorite day of the week....FRIDAY Frideeeeeeey!!!

Have a wonderful time at the Sea, Crownster... (Bix decided to stay home because he wants to look his dapper best when he finally meets super Fox...) Ohhh, the sleeping weather is perfect I hear.

Perk it up Bing...need java now need java now need...want
