As much as I love September (and I do), October 1 is really when everything starts...the month of Halloween...the month of Thanksgiving...the month of Christmas. It's been awhile since I have been on here but I already decorated my house for fall. I usually wait until October 1st to add in my Halloween stuff but couldn't wait and already put a few things out, the rest will be set up October 1st. I just bought a vintage 3 ft orange tree on ebay and have that all decorated for fall then will add Halloween decorations in October.
As I already told Snowflake and Ryan, the Dallas Arboretum will set out 90,000 pumpkins this year in their Pumpkin Village display!!! That is 15,000 more pumpkins than last year. I plan to count them all to make sure that's accurate. We have already been out there a few times to watch the progress and it's coming along nicely. It will open to the public this Saturday September 17 and run until the end of November.
@snowflake22 , Have you posted pictures of your fall decor yet, like you post every year? (Not sure if you already posted and I missed it) Looking forward to seeing them again!
