Very autumnal here today and I think it is here to stay.
So beautiful!
Gorgeous! The lake is like glass
Back at the Dallas Arboretum this morning and look what is there.... 2 - 18 wheelers full of pumpkins!!!
The other pictures below are some of the pumpkins they have set up before these 18 wheelers were emptied!
Last year they had around 50,000 pumpkins, this year they plan to have 75,000 pumpkins!!!
Auntie, the area is still roped off but I zoomed in on the horse they were working on. Will take another picture when the area opens up!

I wish you could come down here, you would love it!!! What is even better, this display runs through the end of November at the same time the 12 Days of Christmas display is going on. You get to see both Autumn and Christmas at the same time in the month of November!

Adrian and I are already planning our trip to the farm for their pumpkin patch, haunted hayride, corn maze, gift shop and apple picking! Fall traditions are the best

Exciting!!!!! I had forgot to mention that we just purchased tickets on Groupon for a fall fest that has festivities like you just mentioned minus to apple picking... Booo!!! No apple trees here but there will be plenty to do along with rides for the kids. I cannot believe I have never been through a corn maze, this will be my first one when we go. We are taking our granddaughter to it. I cannot wait!!!
They do sell off a lot of them during the season but I have no idea what they do with them all! The Arboretum is into recycling so I would imagine they would compost them. That is a good question, I am there all the time so I will ask next time I go!
