(Answer for you and anyone else that might be interested). I got the answer today and it's great! They donate a lot of pumpkins to the Dallas Zoo for the animals to eat. They said the elephants LOVE pumpkin and the big cats love to play with them. A lot of other animals enjoy them as well. The rest of the pumpkins are used for compost to feed the plants they grow throughout the year.

We took our walk there again this morning and took another picture. I hope I am not wearing you all down with these photos! I keep taking pictures from every possible angle, wish I could get the whole thing in one shot! :)

That is wonderful that they put those pumpkins to good use after! I was so curious as there are so many LOL!

I love the photos so please don't worry about wearing us out! Post away!

I got a better close up of the horses today just for you! (Of course I hope the rest of you all enjoy looking at it too!) They are made entirely of corn stalks!!!

When I first saw them, I wanted a close up - thanks, imagine the work that went into creating them.

Thanks. :bundleup

This used to be a sign of Fall

when they geese took flight South, but so many stay around all winter these days.

I'm still seeing Robins feeding around here, they'll take off after Thanksgiving.
