It's a FANTASTIC year for my hydrangeas. My shrub is covered with blooms. They are just opening up and haven't turned blue yet. It's been a few years since I've had so many blooms. Last year I could count on one hand the number of blooms and the year before that there weren't any at all. So I am thrilled this year.
I haven't been out in the crowds along the sides of the canal. I've been fortunate to be out in a boat a couple of times. It is amazing. We can still hear any music that they're playing and to be up close to the flames is exciting.
