We're at the 10 day mark people :piggyback:! Its Thanksgiving time and I can't wait. I can just smell the homemade cornbread stuffing and green bean casarole in the air and the turkey o boy the turkey what a delight! If you guys remember sometime back I posted that me and my mother were trying this new recipe for the turkey this year its a orange-cranberry roasted turkey. We tested it out a couple of weeks ago on an oven stuffer we had in the freezer and it was so good. So I know it will be a crowed pleaser w/the turkey:munch:. O well got to get back to work my director is looking at me out the corner of her eye I think she on to me that I'm not doing any work anyways I'll talk to you guys when I get home ok;-).

I just went shopping for all the Thanksgiving groceries today! I can smell the pumpkin pie and turkey already:)

YAY! I am so, so excited!! Can't believe it's NEXT WEEK!

I always look forward to the Thanksgiving dinner with family and giving thanks to almighty God my provider. It's a lot of work but it's so worth it.

I will be buying my turkey breast and etc. this weekend.

That orange cranberry roasted turkey sounds delicious!

I'm excited. I can't wait to make the cranberry sauce.

My Mom and I went out yesterday to buy our turkey; 20lb,13oz. I hope it's big enough. I can't wait for Turkey and my Dad's cabbage stuffing! Oh, and my sister's sweet potatos and apples, and the green bean casserole, and the mexi-corn.......not real sure how the mexi-corn got in with the rest, but we like it! And then, that night, there's turkey and stuffing sandwiches with mayo. Yum!

Yes, I'm super excited too!! I just had dental surgery and can't eat a single piece of solid food yet. But i am hoping to be ready by thanksgiving. I can hardly wait !!!

Cabbage Stuffing?? Now thats a recipe I'm interested in trying!! I love cabbage. I actually make fried cabbage with my thanksgiving dinner. Its very good mixed up on the plate with the stuffing. So I am thinking, I would probably like cabbage stuffing. See if your dad is willing to share the recipe. I would love to give it a try.
:hello:
