Fairly new and experiencing an issue

Hello! I've been following my merry Christmas for some time now, although I'm fairly new to the forums.
I keep having an issue when I try to write a message. I'm not sure if this one will even show up. Each time I try to type something, an error appears saying that I'm typing spam or offensive content, but I'm not. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this!

That's really odd. I haven't heard of this issue before. Does it happen every time?

It only started happening today, but it worked when I posted this thread. I'll try to send what I was initially trying to send, and see if it's still having issues.

FYI---I approved Ben's 8:12 p.m. post, which was pending admin approval; then he was able to post without a problem at 9:31 p.m. Maybe the approval process for new members' first posts is involved somehow?

I'm not sure. There IS a list of banned words but it is very basic and contains only the most vile stuff.

Alright Jeff, I just sent a message in the private conversation tab. Let me know if it went through, because as soon as I sent it it took me back to the My Merry Christmas homepage. That is where I was having trouble earlier, when trying to send messages there. Hopefully the one I just sent went through.
