I guess it's because my little boy is a little bit older and able to appreciate certain things, but I am really really excited about Halloween this year. I plan on going all out with decorations, costumes, the works! My hubby and I are trying to decide whether we'd like to throw a party or not...but I want to be sure to take our son trick-or-treating...or maybe he's still too young for that. He'll be almost 16 months old when Halloween gets here...is that too young for trick or treating?

Never too young! When mine were babies they went trick-or-treating. Got to start training them early. Ha ha! Of course some of the candy he won't be able to eat but I guess mom and dad can help! =)

When I used to pass out candy (can't anymore b/c of where I live) I LOVED seeing the babies, toddlers and elementary-school-age kids. And some of the things the kids said to us and their reactions were PRICELESS! :boo:

My youngest went last year to the town trick-or-treat event and she was only 17 months. :)
I cant wait either!!! fun stuff!!

I cant wait either, I love Halloween. I'll be taking my nephew Trick or Treating this year with his Mum and friends. We are going to order Candy Corn too offline -he has never tried it.

We took both are boys trick or treating when they were 6 months and 7 months old people loved seeing them dressed up and the cool thing is we got the candy.

I dont think he is too young. When my 17 year old son was a baby, he was only a little over a month old when I took him trick or treating for the first time. He was dressed as a pumpkin. Our local mall had trick or treating at the mall. So I pushed him around in his stroller and I LOVED IT. Of course I enjoyed it more than he did. When my daughter was little I took her out to the neighborhood. I dressed myself up as a not at all scary witch while she was a fairy princess. I really dont celebrate halloween much but I think the trick or treating is fun for the kids. The dress up and going out is fun. If you can make it a family thing, that can be fun too. You and hubby dress up to take him out. Those become lasting memories which are priceless.

Not too young cheesy. My youngest is only gonna be a little over 14 months and he is going with our oldest who is 3 1/2 years old. Of course like others have said he wont be able to eat much of it but I just like getting him dressed up and being able to go with his older brother who he adores!

Never too young to start the memory making....Have fun, they grow up so fast.....
