Green Bean Casserole

Green Bean Casserole...

Do you make it? Do you like it? Do you add any extras to it or make it a different way? Martha Stewart made some on her show yesterday that looked fabulous. I wish I had the patience to make it that way. I haven't had GBC for years, so I am taking a shot at making it this year. I am thinking about adding some bacon to it and maybe some button mushrooms, anyone ever try that?

I love it! I haven't tried any of those extras in it, but I do make one with cream of mushroom soup (the usual) and one with cream of chicken soup. both are deee-lish.

I usually make it but I don't care for it. Everyone else in the family likes it though.

My family and I love it. I think it's the fried onions that make it so good.

I have heard of adding cheddar cheese and bacon to it, too. But I have not tried that yet.

We still use the original Campbell's recipe, and we love it!

My mom makes it every year for every holiday. She's always used the recipe on the French's fried onion container. So good!

I love GBC! I tried to make it for the first time last year... totally failed:-?

It's ok I don't mind it...I usually make it because s/o loves it. Never tried it other than the Campbell's soup way.

My sister made it last year, and not many people tried it. She will not be joining us for Thanksgiving this year, and neither will the green bean casserole.
