Hello everyone,
Would like to take this time to say just how much I love celebrating Christmas! Having been born on Christmas eve, it has always been a special time of year for me, as I've always had much to look forward to during the holiday season. Although the father of my children and I are no longer together, he also was born on Christmas eve (and, of course, we still always wish each other a Happy Birthday each year!). Our daughter was due on our birthday but missed it by three days (Dec. 27th - guess she figured enough was enough and decided to do something different!). Two years later, there was a possibility our son would be born on Dec. 31st, but my doctor was out of town, and I guess my son set out on his own, too, as he was born Jan. 3rd (which also happens to be the birthday of a sister two years my junior). Anyway, birthdays and Christmas and the celebration of the New Year have always seemed to go hand-in-hand with my family as there's always an extra sparkle in the air! So, naturally, I would wind up here in The Merry Forums...Happy Holidays, from Illinois--I'm ChristmasEve!
