Hello to everyone and thank you for this site and allowing my wife, Elaine, and I to join the site.
Like Annie, I am a born again scrooge that for some reason decided to not let all that was wrong in the world let me miss out on the joys of Christmas.
Last year we started decorating and enjoying the season to the point that it has become a part of our daily lives. Elaine is buying blowmolds in July and I'm programming light shows and listening to Christmas music in August.
We are in the process of building our Christmas web site so that we can share what we love with all. Keep in mind we live 15 miles outside of town in the country on a dead end road. The only people that will see our display's are 4 neighbors, Santa and low flying aircraft. But we do it anyway.
Before I completly lose track of what this forum is for, I'll mention that I'm a programmer by trade and a woodworker/holiday decoroator by hobby. Elaine is an accountant, a woodworker (she makes beautiful pen and pencil sets), and a newly recruited holiday decorator.
