Morning Halloween Fans! With Christmas Eve 1 day away and Christmas Day 2 days away our Halloween is definitely a distant memory now...except for US in this thread. Have a great day!

DAYS TO HALLOWEEN : 312
DAYS TO OCTOBER 1ST: 280
DAYS TO HALFOWEEN: 128

Good Morning! I'm a little behind with the post this morning, today is Christmas luncheon at our office building! So i'm running around and rushing trying to get everything done!

Yes, like Edge said, Halloween is becoming a distant memory. I'm really excited for this count here, especially as we get into the new year, as we begin chasing some serious milestones just next month!

I'm feeling excitement begin to build again, and that's a GOOD thing!

Very Fall-ish vibes here today weather-wise. Overcast and a cool 65 degrees outside. Too warm for Christmas but perfect for a Halloween state of mind. If I didn't know better I'd say it was October.

Good Morning, and Merry Christmas Eve to all of my friends here!

There was a SyFy mini-marathon last night of Harry Potter movies. I wanted so bad to switch over and watch, but I'm saving spooky stuff for Jack O Lantern Day. And it will be here before you know it.

My heart and my mind really since Halloween has been over has been 100% Christmas. As is the case every year. Jan - July I'm 95% Christmas / 5% Fall/Halloween. As the 'Bers begin drawing close, that changes to about 75/25 with Christmas still making up the major portion.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful, and safe Christmas Eve. My plan is to post early in the morning, before we get out and about and Christmas gets going. Following Christmas Day, I generally take a small break from the internet, but I will be back by New Year's Eve in time for the countdown to ring in the New Year. And I will keep the Halloween count going during this time, but should something come up, I will ask for volunteers :)

Morning Halloween fans! If you need a volunteer SS I will help out. Just let me know. And boy is it amazing how Halloween just led us to all the holiday stuff? Halloween just proves why it's so awesome because not only what it represents but the time of year it leads us to. Days like this. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas to all! I hope everyone has a safe and happy Holiday!

I will be back with spooky thoughts and wishes tomorrow. And happy 250 days to THE BERS :)

Morning Halloween Fans! Merry Christmas to all of you! It really is spooky weather out there today. We had a spooky night that would be more fitting of Halloween with wind and rain. Was quite the magical evening though. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas! We're at 250 days until the Bers again, which I love, because this means my countdowns don't have to start from a full 365 days anymore. Instead I'll be counting down to the party that starts it all.

Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas today, friends! See you all tomorrow.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I love these three counts in this thread. I especially appreciate how low the Halfoween count is. It will help make Jan & Feb much more bright.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday post-Christmas! Since late last night, I have been feeling better than I ever have after Christmas. I'm really raring to go for 2021. Feeling this great, at this point in the month, is something I have never experienced before. I hope it is permanent, only time will tell. I'm ready to start chasing our 2021 milestones now, and over the next few weeks we are going to hit several of them right here in the Halloween thread!

Morning Halloween Fans! Halloween ended, Thanksgiving ended and now Christmas. Well we still have New Years Eve if you're into that! And looking ahead to 2021. But I'm holding on to Christmas right now just like I do to Halloween in early November. Have a great day!

With Christmas over now, it's all about Halloween 2021 and The Bers for me. This thread is going to be crucial for helping to combat my PCB's, especially during the first three months of 2021. Thankfully we have milestones o' plenty coming up, and our first ever JoL Day in January.

But today? Today I feel great. I have so much excitement already for next year, and so many things I want to plan.

Technically, JOL Day actually started earlier this year as a "test" of sorts, but I think the general consensus among the Halloween folks here was that it was going to be a "new" addition to the MMC Holidays (Rudolph Day, Tom Turkey Day).

I don't believe that you had signed up yet here by the time we did our last JOL Day of 20', which would have been on August 31st. I had the first ever JOL Day in March of 2020, after being amazed with SyFy's Friday the 13th Marathon, specifically how much that evening "felt" like an October evening. I liked the feeling so much I had my first JOL Day by myself two weeks later, on the 31st of March. A few more folks have decided to celebrate it, and it is our hope that it grows in popularity for 21'.

We even have a thread for celebrating Jack O Lantern Day : https://mymerrychristmas.com/forum/threads/celebrating-jack-o-lantern-day.221619/

But yeah, that's where my head is right now, already thinking forward to January, and knowing that we get a sampling of what you would call the "Christmas Triumvirate", which is Rudolph Day on the 25th, Tom Turkey Day on the 28th, and then closing out the longest month of the year with JOL Day on the 31st! I've got everything planned now for JOL Day #1, so look for me to spill the details here over the next week :)

EDIT:: I just checked the thread, and yes, you were here in time for the Last JOL Day of 2020! So that's awesome! I think this was right around when you joined here :)

You're so right! I had totally forgotten about that one. Dang. I guess I've seen "Signs" so many times now that it didn't register in my brain.

That just goes to show that I've got to do something much more memorable this time around!

Good Morning! Looking at those counts this morning, we are really going to see some numbers move here soon. We are going to have Three milestones in January. What an incredible lead into JOL Day #1, which is now growing closer by the day!

I know I am ready to experience "The Big 3" (Rudolph Day, Tom Turkey Day, JOL Day) next month!

Morning Halloween Fans! I was thinking more yesterday about how the month of October things really started getting crazy in a great holiday way thanks to Halloween. I was reflecting about how it was still great despite some things being canceled (like my Halloween trail). Have a great day!

Morning Halloween Fans! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I so feel like just rewinding back to October and reliving these last 3 months. But I know we have to focus on the present. Good thing for having spooky shows to watch any time we want to. Have a great day!

Good Morning Halloween Fans! Check out the counts this morning.

We will be celebrating a Milestone Day just ONE WEEK(!) from today, Monday, January 4th, when we ring in the all important 300 Days to Halloween mark. And that's just the beginning. We have FOUR milestones to celebrate in total next month, three of which are on this thread alone. There is much to be celebrated in January indeed! Hope you all have a great day, and great short week!
