Good Morning Halloween Friends! At the mid-week point now! Almost time for another great October weekend! I am looking forward to Dark Arts Sunday - I haven't watched HP since the latter part of August, and I haven't watched HP & The Sorcerer's stone since LAST JANUARY's JOL Day! I was honestly missing Hogwarts! There's lots of other great movies on this weekend as well. Maybe I will run into Michael!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is going to sure feel like Halloween with the overcast sky and cooler weather. Our rain showers have stopped and the next few days are supposed to be dry.
I am really looking forward to this weekend, I have nothing planned except to just lounge around the house and enjoy the weather, and all the scary movies on TV. I'm really looking forward to Dark Arts Sunday, as I explained a few days ago.
I was shocked that my Home Depot doesn't have ANY Halloween decorations out at all, but Lowes is packed to the gills with Christmas, Thanksgiving, AND Halloween! I like the orange lights on the bushes better than purple, so maybe I will go over and see if I can get a few more boxes of orange lights!

I'm envious of all the halloween weather you are seeing. It was like early summer weather here yesterday. I thought when we got that last cold front that would be it for the warmish weather. It is looking like this current pattern will be here for about another week too. Oh well.
So last night on my drive home from my work trip, I saw my first official Bers sunset of the season. It was PERFECT, and had I not been on a busy interstate I most definitely would have pulled over and snapped a pic. Gorgeous orange and purple. I put on my Halloween playlist and listened to all my favorites as the purple slowly overtook the orange and became darker. Lindsey Stirling's "Between Twilight" started playing at exactly the perfect time. It made my heart happy for the night.

I have officially started my 4 day weekend, I had hoped the weather would be more Fall-ish, but I am grateful that only rain will be in tomorrow and then a clear, but more weekend. I have a few more things to pick up for Sunday's Great Pumpkin Hunt, I am looking forward to it and I hope it is a fun time.
Hope you have fun looking for the things. Can't wait to hear how the hunt goes.

Good Morning Halloween Friends!
With the passing of yesterday, we are now officially under a month until daylight savings time begins. The past couple of weeks, because of threats of rain on the weekend, I have been forced to do mowing after work, in the early evening. While the temperatures have been cool and cooperative, the daylight situation is now really to the point that I just about can't get done. I have to spread the mowing out now over TWO evenings, because by the time I get my front yard done, it is nearly twilight outside. The past two times I have finished up with the headlights on.
Another reminder that we really are in that time of the year now. Driving home now, I am greeted with the sight of houses decorated for Halloween! Soon that will change over to CHRISTMAS lights, in just the next few weeks! I am glad its Friday! I am looking forward to coming home after work and relaxing, enjoying the Halloween movies on TV, and looking forward to Dark Arts Sunday!

Guys, I have to pop in again to ask a question. Edge has pointed out in the awesome Thanksgiving thread that the plan is to have a 2022 Thanksgiving thread.
I know we are still fairly far away from Halloween 2021, but the wheels in this mind are always turning thinking of the "next" Holidays.
So what say you, chaps? I believe there is enough interest here to have a 2022 Thread when the time comes? I also hope to pick up some new posters.
Let me know! I promise I won't be offended if there is low / zero interest....

I enjoy both Threads and love all the milestones we celebrate together, and I know that it is a big commitment for you and for Edge, which I appreciate very much. I would blame either of you for wanting some time off but if you post it, I will be there!!!
Definitely should have this thread next year if you're up to it. I appreciate all the work and dedication you put into it. If you have it, I'll be there.

I never feel like this is "work"! Thank you all for the feedback! I love posting about Halloween and each coming "Bers Season". We get to keep that spirit alive all year from Edge's threads, and obviously the main Christmas Countdown thread. My plan is to keep it going! But let's enjoy THIS Halloween season first!
