Halloween 2022 Countdown!

Wild pumpkins? Cool. Unfortunately we only have domesticated 
ones here! But there are several big fields, some are the big ones and some are the smaller ones. There is one field that didn't get harvested this year, not sure why, but it is looking a little sad right now.

I love pumpkins and enjoyed growing some in containers this past summer and hope to try some more next year.

I missed being here, but I got tied up after Thanksgiving and didn't have a chance to jump back on until today. Believe it or not, I had to work on Saturday! It was painful but unavoidable.
I enjoyed seeing your pumpkin pics! They brought me joy throughout the summer.

Good Morning Halloween Friends, and Happy Tuesday! We had our first snow of the season this morning! Really no accumulation, but there were enough flurries to stick on top of the deck furniture and the grill cover! I don't think I've ever saw "snow" stick to stuff this early before!
In Halloween news, "Chucky" has been renewed for a season 2! That makes me tremendously happy, one more thing to look forward to for this coming Fall season along with everything else we love about Halloween / Fall.
Another thing that makes me happy, is we have our first "real" milestone TOMORROW! I know we just celebrated 350 Days to Halloween roughly a month ago, but that milestone is just a "fun" one meant to boost our morale more than anything else. Tomorrow they start getting "serious". 150 Days to Halfoween is a good accomplishment. Same as 300 Days to October, which will be here on Sunday. They all start carrying some weight now.

Even looking farther out at the Halloween count, only 34 days stand in the way of that one staring at 200's. By the time Santa comes down the chimney, there won't even be two weeks until we hit that next milestone. The beauty of the bonus months!

This is why I love the bonus months and this Halloween thread. 150 days to Halfoween ALREADY and coming up on 300 days to October. It seems like Halloween just ended and we're effortlessly already hitting two milestones. I know it won't always be this way, and the Halloween count especially will feel like a slog around February, but I sure am enjoying it now!
I am glad you enjoyed them, I enjoyed sharing them. Hopefully next year I will have a more impressive crop!

I'd have to think that Chucky's season 2 would come out in the fall again. While that's a long wait, it would be nice to have one more thing to look forward to in the fall! The 1st season had a very distinctly fall / Halloween feel. Plus the Chucky movies are always heavily in rotation during "Halloween Season' Horror marathons on AMC, etc..
