Good Morning Halloween Friends, and Happy Friday! Another cool day is in store for us, we have had about a four day break from the "Sweat Fest", but beginning on Monday, it's back up in the 90's again.

It will be a scorcher for Jack O Lantern Day # 3. Truth be told, I always enjoy when the JOL Days at this time of year are so hot, because I'm inside in the A/C, and I think about how awesome it will be in just a few short months when it's Fall weather again and it's full-time spooky season on TV. Lots of feels to come, for sure.

Today marks only ONE WEEK until we FINALLY reach the 150 Days to Halloween milestone.

IFC channel right now is having a Halloween marathon, and up next is a Friday the 13th marathon!

I gave in, and figured what the heck, it’s dark arts Sunday weekend, and just days away from JOL Day #3, so it’s OK.

I would do the same thing if I found a beloved Christmas movie on TV!

I love when these kind of things happen organically!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I'm going to call this weekend "Road to The Bers Weekend", known in other parts of the country as Memorial Day Weekend.

It's a 3 day weekend folks, and it's a big one. We know what happens on Monday. It is a huge turning point psychologically.

Last night I was happy to see the Halloween and Friday the 13th Marathon on IFC. It is very rare to catch any of those movies on TV, much less a marathon when it isn't "Spooky Season". Real strong Feels, seeing Jason on TV while I was lying on the couch relaxing.

All counts are looking pretty comfortable too. Next week we will finally be able to ring in the 150 Days to Halloween milestone, it has felt like it's taken forever to get here.

Thanks for the reminder Edge, I was in my head about getting to the yard work and forgot to mention in the other thread that I want to get my flags out to honor those who served.

I know others have suggested that Halloween should be a legal holiday, and maybe it is because this is a three day weekend, but I am seriously considering putting a request in to have it off this year. Since it falls on a Monday it feels like the perfect year to give it a try!

I went to put flowers for Memorial Day on Dave's grave. They already had all the flags out and the sight of all those flags on the graves of all those veterans was a breathtaking site.

This weekend (and Tuesday) are the perfect 1-2 punch I needed. Tomorrow is Dark Arts Sunday, followed by Memorial Day and the official opening of the road to the Bers on Monday, and then on Tuesday -- Jack o' Lantern Day. And it's a short week at work! Awesome, right?

Hobby Lobby's Fall section continues to grow. Still no Christmas merchandise yet, and this is officially the latest that my store has ever waited to put things out.

Today I'll be watching Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix!

I love Order of the Phoenix. It may actually be my favorite in the series, but it's a tough decision. Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire were both excellent as well. They picked a great actress to play Dolores Umbridge. She does a very good job at making you want to hate her, lol.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Memorial Day! The "road" to The Bers is now officially open. Our "final approach" back to the best time of the year has now begun. It starts with today, and Labor Day weekend in September will celebrate being back home in September.

Lots of feels yesterday with HP and The Order of The Phoenix. I was thinking a lot yesterday of the significance of this day (today). Not just because of our men and women in uniform, but also because of what it means for all of us on these threads. The journey through the summer Sweat Fest has begun. It will be brutal unrelenting heat for at least two months and part of another. Focusing on The Bers has always got me through it. It will again this year.

Tomorrow is Jack O Lantern Day #3! We're more than half way through JOL Days, with only 2 remaining after tomorrow!

Happy Memorial Day! I missed Dark Arts Sunday so I am going to make up for it tonight and since tomorrow is JOL Day I may continue you it tomorrow night as well.

We went and got our plants/herbs this morning. I am only planting in pots anymore and we only got a few plants this year. But in honor of Jol day tomorrow i did pick up a pumpkin plant to plant in my largest container. It is a small variety so hopefully i will have some luck with them.

I am immensely looking forward to JOL Day tomorrow. I've really missed the Halloween vibes since Spooky Spring ended. I'm not sure what I'm going to do to celebrate just yet, but I'll figure it out today.

Let the Sweatfest begin! We've got the Bers waiting just on the other side!

We went and got our plants/herbs this morning. I am only planting in pots anymore and we only got a few plants this year. But in honor of Jol day tomorrow i did pick up a pumpkin plant to plant in my largest container. It is a small variety so hopefully i will have some luck with them.

I only plant in containers now too. I did pumpkins in containers last year and had moderate success, going to plant a few more this year. Keep us posted on how your pumpkins progress!
