Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Tuesday. Just two days away from JOL Day #7, and just THREE days away from The Bers.

Yesterday the time really drug. I knew that it was the excitement of the pending Bers, as well as the 3 day weekend that was doing it to me. It's hard to not think about it. We chased these dates for nearly an entire year and now they are here. 65 hours and 39 minutes until The Bers officially begin.

My final Tuesday Halloween Thought of the 2023 Countdown Thread really isn't hard to imagine. My thought is simply how in three more days, everything becomes bliss. Any activity that we do in town or when we are out and about takes a fall flair about it. There's pumpkin spice everywhere now. Stores are chocked full of Autumn goodies. Halloween stuff is in there too. Probably in a matter of weeks, and most likely after labor day weekend is over, big box stores will have Christmas stuff out. Costco already does. This is a wonderful, amazing time and September is clearly worthy of being called "The Sweet Spot".

Evening Halloween Fans! Well another summer day here. But definitely feels like it's winding down somewhat. Definitely Halloween/Fall thoughts starting to invade my brain. Oh it's always in there anyway. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! As you can see the big counts this morning are being just ONE day away from our next JOL Day, and being only 2 days away from finally being back home in The Bers.

It's the end of the month which means it's time for our month end review / rundown and then of course our September preview.

August brought us "Fall Pre-Season", and started the gradual slow return of everything we love about Autumn - Halloween candy, pumpkin spice, Fall / Halloween decorations in stores. It was a good time by all. We crushed the 50 days to October milestone and felt like we picked up speed.

As for the September preview? This one's easy, folks. The Bers. The Bers are back in 2 days. 41 hours and 13 minutes from this posting, to be precise. Really no explanation is needed.

TWO days! TWO! Amazing. I'm mostly locked and loaded. Finally tracked down my Joffrey's Not So Scary Pumpkin (TJ Maxx, fyi) and they also had a Joffrey's Dragon Roast Brew that looked prett good. Haven't bought candy yet but have enough Octoberfest and pumpkin beer to drown a yak. And of course music player is loaded with Great Pumpkin Soundtrack. ...now if only the weather would cooperate. I'm going to have to ignore that heat wave next week.

I picked up some Joffrey's Not-So-Scary this past weekend! Found it at HomeGoods. I've been hunting for that Dragon Roast that you mentioned but haven't been able to find it yet (checked a Marshall's and another HomeGoods in this area, but no luck -- I'll have to drive a little ways to reach the nearest TJ Maxx so I can check there).

I stand corrected! It was Home Goods not TJ Maxx (they are next to each other). However, TJ's had some other Joffrey's so there's hope. Marshall's had weak stock of all coffee so I'm wondering if they haven't put them out yet. Though they had TONS of decorations.

Praying for Texas and for Florida. We are getting the smoke from wild fires in Oregon and Washington. It is an air warning day to limit time outside! But after 100 degrees yesterday, the same winds that have brought the smoke and we will only hit 85 today

Hello Halloween fans!

Sorry for not stopping by recently, but I have just been super busy.

We had a nice Fall like day today. But we are going to get the summer heat back starting Sunday.

To combat the summer heat, we are going to put our inside Halloween decorations up this weekend. I cannot wait! I am ready to get Halloween season started.

My pumpkins grew pretty fast and I already picked 9 pie pumpkins! I have another 8-10 still growing and green. Honestly that is too many. But, I guess that just means I will have to make more pumpkin bread and other pumpkin yummies.

Evening Halloween Fans! That post by Xander is what I've always said. I feel like September is like a warm-up preparation but you definitely can legitimately watch Halloween stuff. And October is OUR month. Happy Halloween!

Happy Jack O Lantern Day #8! This is the one that takes us home to The Bers. We are quite literally standing on the doorstep now.

One movie makes sense for tonight I think, and that's the original "Halloween", The night he came home. Tomorrow is the day that all of us come home.

Evening Halloween Fans! I went to our local amusement park this evening. Our 3rd and final trip. We just walk around, take in summer, play a few games, etc. But it is sad to see summer ending...until you realize The Bers are beginning. Happy Halloween!
