Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Wednesday! Happy 1st day of Winter. Even though Winter is one of my favorite seasons, I still feel like after Christmas and New Years have passed, I sort of wish for it to be Spring. So really today is the beginning of our journey towards Spooky Spring.

Looking at the counts this morning, we can see that now only ONE day remains before we hit the mighty 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone. That one is really going to be something, and I hope we all can be here for it. We are also now exactly two weeks out from the 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. That's pretty exciting!

Morning Halloween Fans! I'm going in for 1 day and then 5 days off for Christmas vacation. There is this 1 guy at my company who takes Halloween week off every year. I never met anyone who does that. Have a great day!

I will take off a friday or a Monday when Halloween falls accordingly, but only when I can make it an extended weekend. I just can't bring myself to using a mid week vacation. It feels like a waste.

Halloween falls on a Tuesday this coming year which is one of the worst days. It at least jumps to Thursday in 2024 which is good. I would definitely jump on celebrating it on Saturday each year if possible.

Today is a big one - 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING!

I was looking early this morning for a picture that I felt went with the idea of "Halloween in April", and I think this one serves pretty well. You have the whimsical colors of Spring, but also the classic Halloween images like the skeletons, and of course the Jack O Lantern! In 100 Days from today, we will begin our month-long "October in April" celebration, affectionately known as "Spooky Spring". I get excited just thinking about how close it really is, and especially how close it will feel once that clock strikes January 1st.

Folks - the home stretch of Christmas time is here now. I don't want to do anything to wish it away, but I am starting to get the "feels" when thinking about 2023 and our Halloween / Spooky Season milestones. I know we've been counting down technically since November 1, but in the immortal words of good ole J.R., "Business is about to pick up".

There seems to be a fair amount of people / groups that celebrate Halfway to Halloween! A quick google search brings up lots of pages and events. It’s exciting but there are never any events around or near to me…

Today is Christmas Eve Eve. I am working a half day today and then I'm off the rest of the day to begin my 3 day Christmas Weekend. I am still in awe that it is here. MMC folks, I am going to be depending on you to help each other out not just in this thread, but across all the threads so that we can keep PCB's at bay now that that dreaded last week of December seems to be hurtling towards us at full speed!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Merry Christmas Eve to you. Today, I personally am not going to wax on about anything upcoming 2023 Fall / Spooky Season / Milestones. I want to be fully immersed in the Christmas experience. I think we can all agree that December went by entirely too quickly.

I can't believe today is Christmas Eve! My first with a little one. We survived the "big freeze" last night, the house stayed warm, as did the crawl space and pump house. We are slowly climbing out of the danger zone, our cold advisory is over at around 10AM today. I sure will be glad to see that morning sun come up.
