At Home/Gardenridge should be the next place that has Fall/Halloween items out. The earliest I've seen them was June 19th. I'll start checking there soon. Cracker Barrel is another place that starts early.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It is Wednesday and we are in the middle of the week, starting to put the weekend into view. I have a 4 day work week this week, due to county offices being closed on Friday, so tomorrow will be like our Friday. A good 3 day weekend is always relaxing.
I changed up the wallflower plugs in the house yesterday, now that Spooky Spring is over. Not going to lie, I felt the tiniest feelings of feeling "sad", putting the stuff away. Just like I do with Rudolph Day, that's how I always know when we have a good thing going. If we didn't miss any of it, it wouldn't be special, I don't think.
The wallflower that is out now is of a few little houses with FALL FOLIAGE in the background. Not only does it go with the decor in our all-year-fall living room, I picked it specifically because of THE ROAD that now is waiting just a few weeks up ahead. It will be a wonderful moment when it comes.
Tomorrow, at long last is the 150 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. I originally believed this was Friday, but thanks to Rich for getting us back on the correct count.

Happy Milestone Day to all! We closed in on another important milestone this week, and that is the arrival of the 150 Days to October milestone! Nice round numbers this morning on both the Days to October count, and Days to The Bers count.
Today is probably one of the "last" of the days on the chilly / cool side before the warmth returns and we start heating up as we get into the weekend. It looks like high 70's and a few days cracking 80 over the next 10 days. I can tell you, days in the 80's and any kind of humidity, I do not get any sort of "Bers" vibes.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday to all! Last night my wife and I went out on a date, it was the first date night we have had in a few months. We took a turn through Hobby Lobby after our dinner, and I enjoyed taking in all the Fall scenes there. That place is JUMPING now with Fall Decorations, I ended up buying a small fall/pumpkin candle to add to my collection of what seems like dozens. I also saw that more Christmas Ornaments and bulbs are now up on the top shelves. Nothing down on the shelves yet for Christmas, but I'm feeling like before Memorial Day we will see the first "offerings"
Today we get up to 70 degrees and have radiant sunshine all day long. It has been cloudy and overcast for almost a week here. Have a great day, friends!

This is the longest that I can remember without any Christmas items for sale at HL. There has always been something out by May 1st. It's really messing with my psyche.
The stores nearby you have always seemed to be ahead of ours in terms of changing seasonal items. This year we seem to be in lock step. Hopefully soon!

This morning I am running a 10k as part of the local Apple Blossom Festival. Then when I get back, It's just making a grocery run today since the local dumps are closed.
Later today I'll be using the bagging tractor to clean up all the lawn clippings, and I always get a wave of Fall Feels when I ride that one because of how much I use it to clean up leaves in the fall.
We continue to march towards the 100 Day milestone on our way to The Bers. It's still over two weeks out, but it's a count I keep my eye on daily.

I am holding off a couple of more weeks to plant my pumpkin seeds in the hope of keeping the vines and leaves alive through some of October, last year they were all dead and shriveled in September, the Great Pumpkin was NOT impressed.
