Halloween 2024 Countdown!

I love how everything just feels different after tomorrow. The rest of the year is no problem, not even the summer months. While I can do without the Sweatfest, our reward is waiting just on the other side. For me personally, the fun starts on August 1st when Fall Preseason arrives, so I don't even have to wait the entire summer.

I totally get this. After tomorrow is truly the point in the year where I feel more at ease. The hard part is truly behind us. And it’s just joyful anticipation. I wrote about it a few years ago on here and described the year in 4 “phases”. I will try and find it and post on here for nostalgia in honor of the 100 day milestone.

Evening Halloween Fans! I'm off the next 4 days to unofficially kick off summer. It's hot out again or at least very warm and kind of humid. We had some thunderstorms here. Turning up my a/c and resting tonight. Happy Halloween!

Strong feels here tonight. HP and the Chamber of Secrets is on, and I suspect USA network might be doing a marathon because of being Memorial Day weekend.

BUT, how perfect to see HP on TV on the eve of reaching 100 days to the bers!!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! What a feeling it is to wake up on not only a FRIDAY, but to also wake up to the realization that we are now only 100 DAYS TO THE BERS, and that the final leg of our journey HOME begins today. I mentioned before, we have been on a journey since January 1st, perhaps even since December 26th. We've celebrated milestones and MMC Special Days, but I think this is the point at which we truly realize just how close we are now. The next 100 Days I feel like I'm almost on auto pilot. The "hard" part of the year is over now.

JOL Day #4 is now just one week away. It sure felt good last night to be browsing the channels and seeing Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets! On the Eve of the 100 Day milestone! Somebody at USA decided they were going to do a marathon leading up to / through Memorial Day weekend. Harry Potter seems an awful curious choice - maybe that person / team are Bers fanatics like us?

I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Enjoy this milestone day. We all have worked so hard and been through so much to get to this point. And the ride home begins today!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Rudolph Day! This weekend is going to be a roller coaster of Feels, we have sampled Thanksgiving, today we are going to celebrate Christmas feels, and then on Friday we can have a little bit of Halloween with JOL Day #4.

It is indeed breathtaking to see The Bers count at long last be below 100 days. We're two weeks out from the 100 Days to Halloween Season milestone, and now we have broken into a 150's count on Days to Halloween.

It honestly dawned on me this morning that next month, the count to October will hit 100 days and beyond. That's exciting, and honestly a little terrifying. Because nobody wants to see those counts get "low", even though we count down to them all year. Does that make any sense?

The Bers tribute video! I watched it again this morning, and I'm happy to report that it still works as intended -- I got a hefty dose of the Feels. I'm going to try to carry those feelings with me all day today. Seriously, being back on The Road is so exciting!

I have an interesting relationship with summer. LOL

I really do not like the heat of summer; I just do not like the heat. However, as a teacher, summer means vacation. Summer and the heat also means I can swim in my pool. Summer is also the start of football practice. And, as you pointed out, summer also means we are almost back to Fall. Honestly, I would really enjoy summer if it was not for the oppressive heat. LOL

We had rain and hail and real autumn weather today. Went to a heritage day tour of different 1800s era houses. It was so cool to see these homes.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Dark Arts Sunday. Can you believe I've not had one of these since March? I'll be watching HP and The Goblet of Fire later this evening.

Our next milestone in here will be in 13 days when we hit 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON!

We get a break from the heat today, and fortunately, there is no day that hits 80 degrees over the next 10 days. If those temperatures hold, it will be a cooler start to June. I'll take it. Anything that gives us breaks from the sweatfest over the next 2 1/2 - 3 months, I'll take it.
