Good Morning Halloween Friends! We are just ONE WEEK AWAY from Halloween!
Halloween decorations around here are about "full" - you can't drive down the road anywhere now without seeing something. It's a good feeling, and it's even better knowing that in another week that magic switch is going to flip and we are going to see the same thing with CHRISTMAS, which is still the reason why we are all here and united on MMC.

This is certainly Halloweekend. As soon as October 31st is over, I am all Christmas mode!
We are hosting a Halloween party this Saturday, and to be honest, I will have a hard time not moving onto Christmas after the party. I have already decided that I am going to make sure that I watch a Halloween movie or show each evening next week through Halloween. But since we live out of town, Trick or Treat does not apply to us, so that does not keep Halloween going.
I agree. This weekend has to be Halloweekend. It's Christmas on Nov 1st.

Happy Friday, Halloween Friends! The Halloweekend is here! We think and talk about it all year long. I think it is as significance as perhaps maybe the weekend before Thanksgiving, or the weekend before Christmas. It's a big part of our routine.
My Christmas Tree also comes out of storage today, and it will take us roughly a week to decorate it fully. Come next Friday, we will be ready to flip the switch like Clarke Griswold!

Happy Halloweekend! We're 5 big days away from HALLOWEEN. My Christmas Tree is out and will start getting decorated later today. Huge dose of the feels seeing it standing tall. My facebook memories always show this time with the tree up in the background.
When Holly gets out of the shower we are loading up Abigale and driving up to Skyline drive, hoping to beat the traffic and enjoy what is now peak foliage. I'm going to come home and mow grass which is probably going to be one of the last "full" mows. I'm sure I will use the mowers a few more times to mulch up fallen leaves, especially in November.

Hello Halloween Fans!
My football season is now over except for collecting equipment and doing awards night. Time to relax and enjoy the last few days of the Halloween season!
We are hosting our Halloween party tonight. Just finished with all of the extra decorations, various snack foods are cooking. Not much left to do before the party, just a few last-minute things that we cannot do until just before the party starts.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #2 of the Halloweekend!
I had a great trip yesterday to Skyline Drive. All of my photos are up on the cloud now, and I'm going to pull them down later so I can make an album and share on here. Some of the places we drove through was like being in another world.
Today I'm just hoping to enjoy some Halloween "grazing" and just have a relaxing Sunday. Today is on the chilly side with only reaching 58 degrees. We have nights now reaching in the low 30's, so it might be time to take off the hoses outside just to be on the safe side. We ran the pellet stove last night, and the smoke smell outside is so nostalgic!!
