January is here now. It's a long month, and a dark month. I know that our days are slowly getting longer and there is more light outside, but we are going to feel dark moments and I'm sure that PFHB's and PCB's will never be far aware. I hope that for those who miss Fall and Halloween all the time like I do, this thread and the milestone days, and JOL Days can sort of be your light through the darkness.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Tuesday. I'm back to work today after being off for 12 days. It was the longest break I've had off from work in close to 15 years.
Looking at the counts this morning, we can see that Spooky Spring is now exactly 90 days away, and our next milestone will be on Friday when we reach 300 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN. Folks, I might sound like a broken record but that will be the very last time in this thread that there will be a count that is at a 300 level. That is significant.
And where I live, we are tracking a big snowstorm that is due to arrive this weekend. I think this is one of the earliest times we have ever had accumulating snow, and last winter I don't think it snowed at all.

Checking back in after a nice Bers/Holiday season. The counts are looking good. It's a long road, but I've learned to appreciate the journey and the anticipation (sometimes it's more fun). Glad this forum is here so I can look forward to milestones and kill off any lingering Xmas blues. Onwards!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday. Everybody knows how much I grew to love Wednesdays in 2023. 2024 is going to be no different.
The middle of the week brings with it the slow transition into starting to feel the weekend coming on. It was Edge who said that weekends are almost like mini-holidays, and he's 100% right and I've never thought about them the same way again. We continue to watch the snowstorm that is supposed to come this weekend, it is still too early to get "for sure" totals, but they should be locked in by tomorrow night / Friday morning.
In the 80's now on the days to Spooky Spring, and I think here in this very early part of January, that is the count that I am paying the most attention to.
Tomorrow is Thursday, and we will update our "weeks" count, but I also want to return to the weekly roundtable topic / discussion. I think that was fun last year. We did one Fall/Halloween/October topic each week right up until we got to The Bers.
