Good Morning Halloween Friends! Welcome to the very first Dark Arts Sunday of 2024! Syfy started their HP marathon on Friday night, it was still running yesterday, and even when I woke up this morning. I think that's a neat coincidence.
Folks, we're on our way to JOL Day # 1, coming to you live here in three days, and I think the exciting count to watch this week will be our SPOOKY SPRING count, which hit's the 50's on FRIDAY! I can't believe it's getting that close and it truly is creeping up on us now.
We'll deal with more countdowns when we get to the February preview, which is coming our way tomorrow. Have a great Sunday! I hope @The_Escalation's HP Blue Ray Disks arrived on time!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It’s a scary Monday today as my desktop computer died. It’s the power supply, and I ordered a new one that will be here tomorrow. So hopefully it’s a quick fix. It’s tough typing everything on a tiny screen!
Folks, the first Dark Arts Sunday of 2024 didn’t disappoint. The weather was perfect. The cherry cider was delicious as always. And I’ve came out on the other side now excited to see JOL Day #1, which is just in two days. I’ve said it before, but the January edition of JOL Day may be among the most special throughout the year. Sometime I might try and rank them. Not 1-8, maybe just a few top spots. I think that might be a fun discussion.

They did! Dark Arts Sundays are ON! (That being said, I didn't get to watch The Sorcerer's Stone this Sunday because I was installing new light fixtures in our house and then watched the Lions game, so I'll have to make up for it next month...)
It's JOL Week! Finally! However, I did get a little overzealous and finished reading Dracula over the weekend. Oops. Well, what can I say... It was too good of a read. I'll give my review on Wednesday when JOL Day actually arrives. Now I've got to think of something else to do on JOL Day itself.
I have never ranked all the JOL days but I can give you my top three........3... July 31st (leads in to bers preseason) 2.......January 31st.........It is probably the most needed Jol day .......1 of course is August 31st and leading in to the Bers. I would really need some thought where I would rank all the others.
I didn't get to make my first 2 milk jug pumpkins/ghosts-- the correct glue/sealer did not come in my last Walmart order-- so I will have to check local stores or see if there is an alternate product. Luckily we have plenty of time!
Can't wait to see them. What do you use the glue/sealer for?

It’s Jack O Lantern Day Eve! Can you believe that tomorrow is our 1st Jack O Lantern Day of 2024? I have really been thinking about the “ranking” of JOL Days and I just about have them figured out, and I plan on sharing my personal “ranking” with you on Thursday as this weeks discussion post.
My computer is still down. I’m hoping to have it fixed tonight when the power supply gets here. All of my pictures for our Halloween / Fall countdowns are on there and if I can’t fix this computer, the only other thing I know to do is take the computer to a repair shop to get it up and running so I can transfer the images to an external hard drive so I will have with the eventual new computer.
So it looks like the February preview will happen on February 1st, as long as I’m up and running tonight.

JOL Day Eve! Finally! I've been thinking about what to do for this JOL Day, and I think that I'm going to do something that will set up/welcome in Zombieary this year.

I am back online for now, with the old desktop computer limping along. I don't know how long it is going to stay up, so we are copying right now all of the special pictures and documents onto flash drives, so that I can load it all into the new computer. I'm going to get a new computer either tonight or tomorrow! Right now the most important thing for me is backing everything up.
You guys are going to laugh, but I love all the Halloween and Christmas pictures I have collected over the years. My whole life was on this thing just about! I think in all honesty, this computer was from either 2014 or 2015. It had a good life!!

There is a Mod Podge that is supposed to seal paper, that is what I had ordered and struck out. I am going to use heavy cardstock/posterboard for the the faces so no light comes through. I will report back with pictures.
