Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Wednesday again, and we are wrapped in an Autumn-like embrace right now as it is only 50 degrees outside. We might have set the all time low for August 21st, i won't know until later.
Look at our "Weeks" counts below the main counts. 5 weeks to October, and 10 weeks until Halloween. Today will be the last time we are in double digits on Weeks to Halloween. After today, we won't see a double digit "weeks" count until the "NEW" Halloween 2025 thread goes up!
We're getting really close to single digits now on both the JOL Day count and "Days to The Bers". Kind of try and marvel at that Bers count, because once it runs out, we won't see that count again until January 2025. We're in single days to JOL Day #7, which could be one of the most special JOL Day of the entire "season" since when that JOL Day ends, we are back home in The Bers! They are getting the Hogwarts express all cleaned up and ready too, it won't be long now!

Happy Thursday, Halloween Friends! Mini Friday is here! And I think we got the all time low temp record for today - It's 48 degrees outside!! Have you guys been having an awesome "Halloween" style Moon the past few nights? I went outside last night and it honestly felt like Halloween night, with the cool weather and the moon.
We're in single digits to JOL Day now, and tomorrow we will enter single digits on the way to The Bers. But wait! There's more!. We also enter into a 30's count on our way to October tomorrow! I think these counts are going too fast now, but that's the way things go. All we can do is make the most of each day.

Have you guys been having an awesome "Halloween" style Moon the past few nights? I went outside last night and it honestly felt like Halloween night, with the cool weather and the moon.

This weekend we are headed to World Market, and I'm picking up some Halloween goodies. I don't know exactly what just yet, but I'll know when I get there.
I went on Monday after I got the e-mail that they had all their Halloween stuff stocked. I was pretty disappointed in the choices.

Happy Friday, Halloween Friends! At long last we have entered SINGLE DIGITS on our way to The Bers! A 30's count towards October is also here! And it's another October-like morning out there as it is only 50 degrees.
I'm two days from the Half Marathon, and I am starting to get a little nervous. Almost like the jitters on Halloween night when you walk past a graveyard. More grass mowing awaits me tonight, as I don't know what kind of shape I will be in Sunday following the marathon. And after my chores are done tonight? Halloween Movie grazing. Tonight I believe will begin my own Halloween movie run, from now until Halloween. I might go back to the old Spooky Spring 24' film schedule for inspiration, or maybe browse some new ones.

Now this sounds like fun. I'd like to do this myself, but since I'm such a wimp when it comes to horror movies, I'd have a pretty short list. If I go back to many of the old classic monster movies, I might be able to come up with enough for the month of October.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! This time next week, we will be taking in the last moments of August, preparing to kick off Jack O Lantern Day, and a 3 day weekend! I am actually off work on Tuesday as well, as I have to use up some PTO before the end of the year. So I am actually looking forward to a 4 day weekend!
You can see on our counts above that they are just about as skinny as they can be here in late August, as THE BERS are now just 8 days away. We continue to enjoy warm days and cool nights. I have decided that with the horrible hot weather likely gone, I am going to take the window air conditioner out next weekend and put into storage. Also between September and October every year, I always wash my vinyl siding and gutters, etc.... It just feels like the "right" time to do so.
