Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday to you all! It's hard to believe, but Halloween Eve was one week ago. And tomorrow will mark one full week since Halloween has passed. Is that sad? Yes, I think a little, but Christmas is getting going now, soon there will be Turkey Day, but the bigger thing than that to me, is that this entire first week post-Halloween has had real energy to it. I feel like the thread, at least so far in the very very early going here, is galvanized. So I have cautious optimism that we can keep that energy / momentum going as we continue to trudge towards the winter.

It's Friday, so today is the "Friday Folklore" portion of our thread.

Who would I like to share today? He's kind of a "local" thing in Point Pleasant, WV. Here is THE MOTHMAN !

He's pretty famous. He's been the subject of a 1975 Book by John Keel, and later the 2002 movie. There's even an annual festival in point pleasant devoted to him!

I hope everyone has a great Friday!
I've seen Mothman before! Very cool and creepy looking!

Hello Halloween Fans! I always feel like this first portion of November is an interesting time for a Halloween fanatic. We still see Halloween stuff out in the stores but we know it's ending and yet Christmas Season is already approaching. I still love how "our" season of Fall/Halloween gets so much more time than other times of the year. By Mid-July we see it out already starting and by Mid-November it's finally put away. Happy Halloween!
