Halloween Candy

What do you do with the leftover candies that your kids do not eat or extras that they have? I had seen on the news that a dentist pays per pound for the candy, then sends it to the troops overseas. I thought this was a great idea. Unfortunatly that dentist is not close to us.

My kids usually end up eating all of their candy except maybe just a few pieces of hard candy. If it's not something that hubby or I will eat, we just throw it away. The candy we had left from what we were passing out, my 15yr old son claimed since he didn't go trick or treating. There was about 15 pieces of misc. candy left so I told him that was fine.

I have sorted the loot into two bags: chocolate & other! What we don't like, I bring to work.
