Great thread. I've been thinking about Halloween a lot lately. Still sitting on one of my shelves are a couple of those fist size pumpkins and a small wicker pumpkin with lights that I plug in when I only want a little bit of light on. On Friday the 13th this month I also noticed a good amount of Halloween programming, mainly on Syfy Channel and Chiller, Hocus Pocus on ABC Family, South Park Halloween, and a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror marathon on FXX. It was nice having that feeling of it being Halloween for a day. I love catching any Halloween special on TV any time of year, even random kid shows, there's a few on this week =). All year I regularly type in Halloween (as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas) into my TV Guide Keyword Search just to see if anything is airing. And like somebody else mentioned we get another Friday the 13th in March, so that will be fun. I enjoy projecting myself into the month of October to remember the one that just passed and look forward to the next one. Can't wait for August when catalogues and stores become filled with Halloween again! Glad to see there's others who feel the same.
