Halloween Countdown 2015

Hello everyone. The first day of Fall is September 23, so I picked the following Friday, September 25 as the beginning of the spooky season. I figured that's around when stores go full blown Halloween (although they start rolling out some items earlier) and the specialty shops open up around that time. Sound okay to everyone?

So, here's our update:

Days to the Halloween season: 144!
Days to Halloween: 180!

It's close! Have a spooky day!

I do too! Tell Adi we can meet in the middle and throw a Halloween bash together on the Missouri/Iowa border. No one would come since we don't know anyone there but we'd have a good time!

So make it the 25th of September each year, or the last Friday in September each year?

Either way, sounds about right to me.

Many stores have Halloween stuff out even sooner (early to Mid-September), but then again, many stores have Christmas stuff out earlier than Nov. 13th, when we launch the "Christmas season".

Your photos are from a "Spirit Halloween" store, which is where I worked at last Fall. We certainly had those same decorations set up in our store. Fun times!

What do you think? Maybe just set a date each year? Having the beginning of the season on a Friday does seem nice so we can celebrate by staying up late, watching scary movies and eating candy!

Will do. I grew up reading Tales From the Crypt and Vault of Horror reprints. I had a lot of summers filled with me and my cousin playing in the day, then settling down at night to those horror comics and old monster movies. Reading them now really takes me back.
