Thank you! I did read others too, besides horror comics: I've always loved my superheroes, and my favorite, Archie! I found his hunt for mischief and never ending quest for pretty girls endearing.I related to it.
I don't hunt for the pretty girls anymore because I found one who for some reason said yes! But I do still enjoy my mischief. :)

Going through my old pics from last year's Halloween blossoms:

This sort of thing will be back before we know it! Our local Target has outdoor items out now, but their seasonal display will shift to back-to-school items in mid-July. Then, in September they'll start rolling out the Halloween items gradually. Can't wait!

Good morning my spooky friends.

It's only 142 days until the Halloween season begins!

And 178 days until the big day itself!

Have a great day!

Oh man, I'm not prepared to answer these sorts of questions! :)

What do you think? Maybe just set a date each year? Having the beginning of the season on a Friday does seem nice so we can celebrate by staying up late, watching scary movies and eating candy!

The "Christmas season" launches on the same day each year (November 13th), so it should probably be a set date for Halloween as well.

I like keeping it on September 25th, myself. That gives us exactly 5 weeks of Halloween season, similar to how we got 6 weeks of Christmas season - from Nov. 13th to Dec. 25th. 7 weeks if you include up till January 1st.

And September 25th really does feel "just about right". Before then (the post-Labor Day period), it's all about preparing for and embracing Fall. After September 25th, it's all about embracing Halloween. Just my thoughts, anyway. :-D

The 25th is fine by me!
