I am soooo ready for pumpkin flavored everything!!!! I did not get my pumpkins planted this year, so I will have to buy them from a local market. I love to make real pumpkin pies and pumpkin bread.

I made pumpkin muffins a few weeks ago, just couldn't wait any longer.
This past weekend, we made pumpkin spice pancakes w/ pecans- they were amazing!
That is awesome!!! I am trying hard to keep from starting the pumpkin extravaganza. The rest of the family is not quite as ready as I am.
They will get there though. Once we get through the start of school in a couple of weeks they will all move towards Halloween prep. Once a Halloween store opens in town my youngest son(6yrs old) will turn into a Halloween fanatic in which we will be at the Halloween store a few times a week, every week.
He definitely has my zeal for the holidays!
