That's just too adorable. :) Where did you find this one?
I don't remember, sorry! I just do Google Image searches most of the time, or sometimes find them on Halloween pages that I follow. If I come across it again, I'll let you know :)

This is hilarious! There's a story in this image. I love the idea of a witch's familiars being up to mischief in her absence. Interesting. What would the title be? "Something Familiar" "Moonlight and Magic" "Harvest Moon" Hmmm...
Witch's Circle Shenanigans?! :p

Creepy. Makes me wonder about the story behind it.
It seems kind of spooky, but from everything I've read on the history of Halloween, Samhain is the day/time that Pagans say goodbye to summer, begin the darker half of the year & honor their ancestors-their belief is that it's the time that the veil between our world and theirs is the thinnest. Also called "Ancestor Night", where the spirits can roam free and offer guidance for the coming year to their loved ones on earth.

This time last year, I ran a marathon in Vermont. I stayed at the (honestly) Ho Hum Motel. Near it, across from Resurrection Cemetery, was an old house with a fence similar to this. The lawn was full of little ornamental animals. They were weathered and paint-peeled and scattered helter-skelter, leaning this way and that. By the looks of it, they stood guard year-round.

For the season (I hope), the homeowners had placed plastic Halloween masks on the animals. It was the most unnerving, creepy thing I've ever seen. Like an army of undead animals awaiting command. I ran past that place several times. Couldn't wait to get to the cemetery, which was beautiful. But that yard....yeah, I was thankful for the gate between them and me...

That sounds really creepy, what an unnerving experience. But also perfect for this time of year!

Again, what do you suppose inspired this? Ghosts floating down the stairs to a little girl in her bed? The lighting is awesome, with the candle chandelier. But...who parks a bed at the foot of the stairs?

Ok now I feel bad for the little girl, lol. Definitely an odd place for a bed!
