Halloween Has Begun!

Now that it's about to hit October first, are you planning to start decorating?

Just today I swapped summer items for fall ones. I have two glass vases (with stands), on the mantel. I placed faux pumpkins, berries and fall leaves in them. I think they look nice and it only took about 5 minutes to do.

I bought two branches from the local craft store (Michaels) that come with a pumpkin, various colored fall leaves and some berries. I simply cut the items off each branch and placed them in the glass vases.

I also took out some pumpkin scented candles and put a fall wreath on the door.

Have you started any fall or Halloween decorating yet??

We dont put decorations out until the 31st. Ive also got to get my son a Dracula costume...cant wait!! It will be his first year at Trick or Treating

I decorated the first weekend of September, lol! I always do that. I have pumpkins and gourds out front as of last weekend and I want to pick up some mums tomorrow... I also need some more fake leaves for my railing out front.

I haven't put anything out yet, and I had good intentions of getting it out before the end of September, but it didn't happen. Hopefully sometime this weekend, but we'll see...

I've only seen one house in our neighborhood decorated so far. I want to work on ours this weekend

We'll put out fall stuff this week, and Halloween stuff added to it in a couple weeks.

Speaking of a Dracula costume, I saw a picture of a Vampira costume I wish Nancy would try out! cheesy

I don't decorate much for Fall or Halloween. Fall stuff went up Sept. 1. Halloween stuff will go up tonight or tomorrow.

I have all my Fall/Halloween stuff out and have for a couple weeks !!! I just couldn't wait any longer !! Of course mine is intermingled with Christmas !!!!
