The next 3-4 months are my favorite time of the year to purchase magazines! I don't have nearly as many subscriptions as I used to but I do take specials trips to Barnes & Noble to browse the magazines and stop at Starbucks for a seasonal treat.

Guess it is time to wake up this thread for the year. Today at Walmart
I love to read Country sampler but i dont decorate for country at all..im weird...and I love Sandra Lee..I do alot of her dishes and make my own semi homemade things....I tend to like the fall mags more than halloween.and of course im nuts for christmas mags
For me, there is no more a definitive sign, nothing that further solidifies the official mark of the beginning of the season, than when that first magazine or catalogue arrives at the house in early/mid August. From that point on the season is officially here, and it doesn't end until late January/early February when that last bit of nostalgia for the season that just passed finally fades.

The Autumn edition of The Cottage Journal came in the mail yesterday!
Nice, that looks like it might have a few cool pictures in it. Might want to add some of the pictures to the Autumn thread.
