I'm thinking of getting Ray Bradbury's "October Country."
Snowflake, don't you like that one? Has anyone else read it? I'm in the mood for a short story collection that will take me back to my favorite time of year!
I haven't read it, but I bet it's good ... I'm a BIG fan of Bradbury's "Dandelion Wine."
I wonder if the stories have the flavor of his "Something Wicked This Way Comes."

I'm reading his "The Halloween Tree" and really enjoying it. I mean to read "October Country" soon too.

I highly recommend it. A mixture of haunting and macabre tales sure to get under your skin. Perfect on a chilly, dismal autumn day especially.

I haven't read that, but thank you for the suggestion!
I love his work-two of my my favorites are The Halloween Tree & Something Wicked This Way Comes. (love the movie, too)

I was thinking there was a collection of October and Halloween themed stories you had recommended...like a spooky anthology.
I must have made it up. I tend to do that! :)
