Agreed!

I do think that Texas Chainsaw Massacre was extremely disturbing.
What do you guys think?

I have a confession: I've never seen all of it! I've heard it's actually not nearly as gory as the title, and later sequels, would suggest. Is that true?

Drac's has always been my favorite. I know he's probably not in the same category as MM, Jason, Leatherface or Freddy.
Dracula is a weird combination of dangerous, frightening, suave, classy, and mysterious...all at the same time. He certainly has the best manners of all the monsters.

It's not as gory as the title, true-but it's very unsettling and creepy!

Halloween has a creepy psychological aspect, and it's also everything from the music, filming style, set/scenery, etc.
It was the original, ground breaking horror movie! Michael Myers IS the boogeyman!

Yeah I don't know who said gore is scary. I don't enjoy watching gore...it doesn't scare me it's just kind of gross but pointless. Doesn't make me sit on the edge of my seat like MM does.

Seeing MM from across the street through the blinds in someone else's yard staring back towards you and then you shut the blinds, check again and he's gone...that stuff SCARES me to this day. Like you don't want to take your eyes off him because you don't know where he is now. That's scary.

We have a small family run one not that far away. The other day I noticed a for sale sign up.

As for Blockbuster. Most have closed down now. In fact maybe all are closed down now!

This is true. The original is better. You know it's been years since Ive watched the original. I might try and find the nerve to watch it this Hallween LOL LOL! Eeeeek. We should arrange a viewing party. I need backup

I am not into senseless blood and gore so I kind of steer away from those types of horror films. I mean there is always an exception if the story has substance.

There is one that has traumatised me and the mere thought chills me - Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yep I am a wimp.

Both the original and the re make have terrified me!!! I could never watch those again. Sorry no offense to any fans. I am just a wimp!
