Just googled forums and found this site.
I live in Louisiana, MO and even though I decorated, before JR, for Christmas, not as much as I have since meeting JR. He loves kids so Halloween and Christmas bring him great joy as he sees the sparkle in the children's eyes at our decorations.
Since we all know commercial decorations can be expensive and we have a very large area to decorate, I decided, 5 years ago, to make my own so they would be big enough to fit the space and so we could afford more faster. Then about 2 years ago I decided to share some of the stuff I had developed and created a web site of "how to" for Halloween and Christmas...all free of course. I had no idea that there was such a large community of "doers" and "makers" for these Holidays. I love the forums. Seeing how different people all over the world interpret the seasons is so interesting and entertaining. It really keep the creative juices going and spirit of both seasons real.
I just started creating some page for free stocking pattern ideas and was looking for needlepoint ideas when I ran across this site. Didn't see a specific space for stocking but will check out the "inside" stuff.
This year we are limited on space so I am looking for ideas for just lights, like light loops or something.
