I've just recently joined and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm originally from Newfoundland, Canada, but am now living in Ontario. Love the holiday and all that goes with it. I like to have a little bit of Christmas all the year long. Sometimes I'll watch a Christmas movie, or listen to some music. That's especially during the summer when I want to feel a little cooler.

I have a blog: www.gutfounded.com, but don't feel obligated to visit. It's about my adventures exploring the world of food and Newfoundland. I'll sprinkle some childhood memories in as well. I just wanted to give a quick wave hello and look forward to chatting with you all.

Do you specialize at all in Christmas food?

I don't specifically, but I've posted a few recipes that are always made in Newfoundland during Christmas: coconut snowballs, shortbread, figgy pudding (a fruit steamed dessert) plus others. I can link them if you like.
