Hello all, I am new here. I actually signed up two weeks ago, but have not posted yet. I wanted to thank the people who are supportive to my friend that posts on here. I am the mom with the kid that has been being bullied at school. Friday, a child brought in a drill bit and held it to my sons face and threatened his life with it. I know some of you have heard already, so I just wanted to stop in and say thank you.

Hello and Welcome!!

Best of luck to you in this horrible situation. You can handle it.

Welcome to MMC. Sorry to hear about all of this bullying that is happening to your son. Has the other kid gotten suspended yet? And have you contacted the local news station? I hope this all gets resolved soon for your son and you. Take care. cheesy

:tree:Welcome!! I hope the bullying is taken care of soon. I hope your son is having a better day today!

I spoke to the news and they plannning on putting it on the 11pm news tonight. The principal is talking to the kid now, he is not sure if a drill bit is considered a weapon.

:hi: and welcome. I do believe a drill bit is consider a weapon if someone is being threatened by it. Stick to your guns and make sure that child learns his lesson!! We're behind ya!!

It sure is a weapon! Dont let this pricipal tell you its not.. or ask her if your son brings a bat to school to practice baseball and used it against the bully is it then considered a weapon?
Welcome to MMC :D
So sorry to hear about your son..

Welcome babesbeme! I hope you have lots of fun here! About the bullying -- you can go above your principal, if he doesn't take care of things quickly. You can go directly to each member of the school board and also to the school superintendent and also to the elected town officials. Being bullied is so terrible! We are supporting you and your family!

Welcome to the forum

Greetings and welcome!

I agree, it is a weapon when used to try to hurt, not fix something.
