Thanks all for the warm welcome.

I've just returned from my morning stroll and I'm very happy simply to be off work for the next few days or so. Here, it's a very crisp morning with a lovely blanket of snow.

We haven't had snow in December here for quite a few years. January, February, yes, but not quite so much in December.

It's nice to have snow around Christmas time of course!
