I am excited to be here! I have been the biggest Christmas fan since I was a little kid, but the last few years I have grown to hate Christmas. I love celebrating both religious and traditional parts of Christmas, but family has really killed Christmas for me the last five years or more. I want to love Christmas again. I thought a good start would be to join this group and get involved in the Christmas card exchange. I can't wait to explore this web site some more and keep reading the articles I come across on Facebook. Thanks for letting me in!

It would seem you're more unhappy with family than Christmas. Christmas occupies a special place for us that other people are not allowed to dampen our enthusiasm. We've had several family deaths during the holiday season and I don't think they would want us to be depressed on Christmas. Therefore, no matter what else happens, we decide how our holidays go and don't allow others to take away from that. One can add to the joy...just not take any joy away! :dance:
